Claims
- 1. A method for controlling a stepless transmission (G) having a transmission ratio (i), wherein said transmission ratio (i) is continuously variable between two transmission end values by at least one actuator force (FAP, FAS) effective on shiftable adjustment means (P2, S2), characterized in that: an end position operating mode is defined as operation mode by modulating the transmission ratio (i) by a modulation of the actuator force or forces (FAP, FAS), that a measured value (aM), which is dependent on the modulation of the transmission ratio (i) of the transmission (G), is ascertained, and that the ascertained measured value (aM) is controlled in closed loop fashion to a predetermined rated value (aS) by varying the mean proportion of the actuator force or of the actuator forces (FAP, FAS).
- 2. Method of claim 1, characterized in that the rated value (aS) is predetermined for the measured value in such a way that for an adjusted measured value (aM) at least one of said shiftable adjustment means (P2, S2) is effective on a mechanical displacement stop (LP, LS) with a predetermined mean force.
- 3. Method of one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a normal operation mode is defined as a further operation mode, in that the transmission ratio (i) of the transmission (G) or the drive r.p.m. (nP) of the transmission (C) is controlled in a closed loop manner in accordance with a predetermined control strategy, and in that the transmission (G) is operated in said end position mode when values of the transmission ratio (i) are in a range of said transmission end values, and otherwise operating said transmission in said normal operation mode.
- 4. Using the method of one of the preceding claims for controlling a drive unit of a motor vehicle with a stepless transmission.
