The method of claim 1, wherein said installing said flashing by said crew comprises installing flashing including at least one of: a foundation-exterior treatment flashing; a flashing configured to be disposed between two exterior treatments; a flashing configured to be disposed at eaves; and, a flashing for an opening including one of a door and a window and a pipe-through and a utility box; and, a chimney-bonnet.
- 9. The method of claim 1, wherein said method further comprises providing a flashing crew that has a member trained in installing said flashing to reduce moisture ingress into the building structure.
- 10. The method of claim 1, wherein said installing said flashing comprises working in conjunction with and cooperating other building crews as the other building crews install moisture barriers and one or more exterior treatments and other refinements in finishing an exterior of the building structure.
- 11. The method of claim 1, further comprising training a member of the flashing crew at least one method of installing flashing to mitigate moisture intrusion into a building structure.
- 12. A method of incorporating flashing materials to a building structure during construction thereof to mitigate moisture intrusion through at least one exterior treatment, the method comprising:
providing flashing configured to be disposed proximate discontinuities in exterior treatment of the building; providing a flashing crew of one or more individuals skilled in installing said flashing to the building structure and organized as said flashing crew to install said flashing; and installing said flashing proximate discontinuities in the exterior treatment including openings through an exterior treatment of the building structure and discontinuity of one or more exterior treatment of the building structure by means of said flashing crew.
- 13. The method of claim 12, wherein the step of providing said flashing crew comprises providing said flashing crew designated solely for flashing discontinuities in exterior treatment of the exterior walls and chimney of a building structure.
- 14. The method of claim 12, wherein the step of said installing said flashing comprises installing said flashing in cooperation with crews skilled in other trades distinct from said flashing crew.
- 15. The method of claim 12, wherein said providing said flashing comprises providing flashing configured to flash the openings through one or more exterior treatments of the building structure including: window openings; door openings; chimney openings; pipe-through openings; and, utility box openings.
- 16. The method of claim 12, wherein said providing said flashing comprises providing flashing configured to flash the discontinuities in the one or more exterior treatments of the building structure to be flashed, including one of an interface between an exterior wall and roof eaves and an interface between a foundation and an exterior treatment; and, an interface between two exterior treatments.
- 17. The method of claim 12, wherein said method further comprises contracting for installing a flashing system to the openings and other discontinuities of exterior treatment of a building structure.
- 18. The method of claim 12, wherein said method further comprises organizing a flashing crew including providing means to transport one or more members of said crew, tools, flashing, sealant, and other required materials to a jobsite, as needed to facilitate installing flashing at discontinuities of an exterior treatment.
- 20. The method of claim 19, wherein the flashing crew is organized and equipped so as to be able to flash different types of discontinuities in exterior treatment of a building struture.
- 21. The method of claim 12, wherein said method further comprises providing a flashing crew that has a member having specialized training in installing said flashing to reduce moisture ingress into the building structure.
- 22. The method of claim 12, wherein said installing said flashing comprises cooperating other building crews as elements of the building structure, moisture barrier and one or more exterior treatments and other refinements in finishing an exterior of the building structure are applied to the structure.
- 23. The method of claim 12, where the flashing crew also applies a moisture barrier to the building structure.
