Claims
- 1. A method for freezing foods comprising the steps of:
- filling a dip tank with an anti-freeze medium to form an anti-freeze bath,
- uniformly cooling said anti-freeze medium by a stainless steel freezing coil tube disposed within said dip tank,
- jet-agitating the anti-freeze medium by a jet-agitator,
- dipping foods in an agitated jet flow of the anti-freeze medium and sealing said dip tank, and
- controlling a temperature to which said anti-freeze medium is cooled by said coil tube so that it remains between -30.degree. C. and -50.degree. C. so as to uniformly freeze the food at a super high rapid freezing rate.
- 2. A method for freezing foods as defined in claim 1, and further comprising the step of packing the foods by a process selected from vacuum packing, deaeration packing and wrapping the foods in synthetic resin film before dipping the foods into the anti-freeze medium.
- 3. A method for freezing foods as defined in claim 1, wherein the foods are uniformly frozen at a super rapid freezing rate of 25-30 minutes.
- 4. A method for freezing foods as defined in claim 1, wherein the foods are uniformly frozen in a super rapid freezing time of 90-120 minutes.
- 5. A method for freezing foods as defined in claim 1, wherein said anti-freeze medium is an aqueous solution of ethyl alcohol.
