Claims
- 1. A method of making a limited pour neck finish bottle comprising the steps of:a. molding a bottle having a neck with an open end, a closed bottom wall and a peripheral edge portion at the open end of said neck; b. molding, simultaneously with said molding a bottle, a plurality of peripherally spaced axially extending flexible fingers integral with said bottle adjacent the peripheral edge portion of the open end of said neck; and c. bending said axially extending flexible fingers to radially inwardly extending positions across the open end of said neck.
- 2. A method of making a bottle comprising the steps of:molding a bottle having a body portion of predetermined cross-sectional dimension and a reduced neck having a peripheral edge portion at an open end of said reduced neck; b. molding, simultaneously with said molding a bottle, a plurality of peripherally spaced axially extending flexible fingers having wide base Portions and relatively narrower free end portions said wide base portions being integral with an inner surface of said reduced neck; and c. bending said axially extending fingers at said wide base portions to radially inwardly extending positions across the open end of said reduced neck wherein said free end portions overlap each other.
