Claims
- 1. A method of using a flame sprayer to impinge heated particles into a polymeric sheet, wherein particles are heated by a flame emitting from a nozzle to form the heated particles, and wherein the nozzle has a cross-web width and a downweb thickness, the width being substantially greater than the thickness.
- 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the particles pass through the flame to form the heated particles.
- 3. The method according to claim 2, wherein the particles pass through the nozzle from which the flame emits.
- 4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the particles pass in close proximity to the flame to form the heated particles.
- 5. The method according to claim 1, wherein the particles are present in a particulate stream positioned at an angle of approximately 60° to the flame.
