Claims
- 1. A process of manufacturing a pesticidal active compound corresponding to the following formula: ##EQU8## wherein n is 1 or 2; R is selected from the group consisting of lower alkyl and lower haloalkyl; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 taken together form an alkylene group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, said alkylene group being unsubstituted or substituted with alkyl groups having 1- 2 carbon atoms, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 taken together form ##EQU9## comprising the steps of: a. combining an oxidizing agent selected from peracetic acid and m-chloroperoxybenzoic acid and a thiocarbamate compound in a solvent system; said thiocarbamate having the following formula: ##EQU10## b. maintaining the temperature between -25.degree.C. and 60.degree.C.; c. said oxidizing agent being present in an amount of at least one stoichiometric equivalent and not more than two stoichiometric equivalents.
- 2. The process as set forth in claim 1 wherein said oxidizing agent is m-chloroperoxybenzoic acid.
