Claims
- 1. A process for the production of a sheathed, hollow, cylindrical stick composed of a flexible tube folded by longitudinal shirring, which comprises inserting a stick composed of a longitudinally folded tube into a section of a jacket of sufficient length that it projects over both ends of said stick,
- inserting annular discs inside said jacket adjacent each front wall of said stick,
- inverting said projecting portions of said jacket inwardly over the surfaces of said annular discs,
- and inserting clamping elements into the covered openings in said annular discs.
- 2. A process according to claim 1 in which said tube and said jacket are composed of fiber-reinforced cellulose hydrate.
- 3. A process according to claim 1 in which said projecting portions of said jacket have a length corresponding to at least half of the exterior diameter of said stick.
- 4. A process according to claim 1 in which said projecting portions are inverted in a manner such that they are adjacent the end surfaces and inner walls of said annular discs.
- 5. A process according to claim 1 in which the clamping elements have the form of hollow cylinders with orifice brims thereon, and the inverted portions of said jacket are clamped between the covered ends of said annular discs and the lower sides of said orifice brims, and also between the exterior surfaces of said hollow cylinders and the inner walls of said annular discs.
