Claims
- 1. A method of making a tack-free silicone gel molding comprising the steps of:
- (a) molding a crosslinked organopolysiloxane into a gel having a tacky surface and a partial three-dimensional network structure which exhibits limited fluidity and deformation upon the application of stress; and
- (b) coating the gel of (a) with cured silicone rubber particles having an average diameter less than about 1 mm until the gel is tack-free.
- 2. A method of making a tack-free silicone gel molding comprising the steps of:
- (a) molding a cross-linked organopolysiloxane into a gel having a tacky surface and a partial three-dimensional network structure which exhibits limited fluidity and deformation upon the application of stress;
- (b) coating the gel of (a) with an aqueous dispersion of cured silicone rubber particles having an average diameter less than about 1 mm; and
- (c) drying the coated gel.
