Claims
- 1. A method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display comprising:forming a terminal electrode part on an active matrix substrate of the liquid crystal display connected to an external terminal drive circuit by using aluminum or an aluminum alloy, at least a portion of a surface of the terminal electrode part connected to TCP is covered with an insulating film of aluminum oxide or comprising a laminate film of aluminum oxide and aluminum hydroxide; and selectively removing the insulating film in a step subsequent to a final step in a subsequent liquid crystal display manufacturing step.
