Claims
- 1. A cylindrical rotatable optical recording drum for use in erasable optical recording comprising:
- an outer cylindrical surface on which reading and writing can be performed; and
- a core including an inner core layer comprising hollow spheres mixed with a resin, wherein the radially outer surface of the inner core layer has a higher ratio of resin to spheres than the radially inner surface of the inner core layer.
- 2. A cylindrical rotatable optical recording drum for use in erasable optical recording comprising:
- an outer cylindrical surface on which reading and writing can be performed; and
- a core including an inner core layer comprising hollow spheres mixed with a resin and an outer core layer disposed between the inner core layer and the outer cylindrical surface, wherein the outer core layer comprises hollow spheres mixed with a resin, and wherein the radially outer surface of the outer core layer has a higher ratio of resin to spheres than the radially inner surface of the outer core layer.
