Claims
- 1. A method of preparing a composition for co-inoculating legume seeds, comprising packaging a carrier substrate in a container, sterilizing the substrate, adding a suspension of spores of P. bilaii, adding a suspension of Rhizobium sp. cells, and mixing said suspensions with said carrier to form a composition.
- 2. A method according to claim 1 wherein said container is flexible and said suspensions are mixed with said carrier by massaging said container.
- 3. A method according to claim 1 wherein composition is cured at a temperature of 20.degree. to 30.degree. C. for a period of about 14 to 35 days prior to storage or use of said composition.
- 4. A method according to claim 1 wherein said carrier is powdered peat having a moisture content of about 6 to 20%.
