- 2. The method of preparing pharmaceutical moxa extract tincture formulation as claimed in claim 1, wherein said step of extracting moxa-methanol extract further comprises mixing with the dried young leaves of Artemisia at least one medicinal stuff selected from the group consisting of-cinnamon cortex, dried ginger, clove, saussurea root, Korean aralia root, asarum, Angelicae Dahuricae root, orpiment, atractylis, myrrh, franldncense, akene, garlic, beeswax and sulfur.
- 3. A method of preparing pharmaceutical moxa extract lotion formulation, comprising the steps of:extracting a moxa-methanol extract by extracting from the dried young leaves of Artemisia with methanol and condensing the extract; extracting a moxa-dichloromethane fraction by suspending the condensed moxa-methanol extract in water, mixing the suspended extract with dichloromethane, distilling the mixture in a fractional distiller, and collecting the moxa-dichloromethane fraction from the lower portion of the fractional distiller with an uncollected portion remaining; extracting a moxa-ethylacetate fraction by adding ethylacetate to the uncollected portion, distilling the mixture in a fractional distiller, and collecting the moxa-dichloromethane fraction from the upper portion of the fractional distiller, obtaining a dried mixture by mixing the moxa-dichloromethane fraction and the moxa-ethylacetate fraction, condensing the mixture and evaporating the condensed mixture; powdering the dried mixture; and mixing the powder with at least one diluent selected from the group consisting of Vaseline, liquid paraffim, isostearic acid, stearyl alcohol, myristyl alcohol and polyvinyl alcohol block copolymer.
