Claims
- 1. A process for the preparation of a hydroxylammonium salt by reducing nitrogen monoxide with hydrogen in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst, wherein the hydrogenation catalyst is one which has been essentially prepared by
- (a) treating a platinum metal salt with finely divided sulfur and then
- (b) reducing the platinum metal salt to metallic platinum metal.
