Description
FIELD OF INVENTION

The invention herein is related to the textile industry in general, specifically, it is related to clothing items for feet, such as socks, stockings, tights, pantyhose and the like, and even more specifically, it refers to an innovative method to identify the pairs of clothing items for feet.

INVENTION BACKGROUND

The textile industry, especially referring to clothing items, has consistently evolved, making it possible for people to access different clothing items, with different styles, compositions, and designs. Within the clothing items, we can find those garments developed to cover and protect feet from dirt and friction with shoes, which can damage the skin, and also to absorb humidity derived from the sweat of the users' feet.

Usually, when a person acquires clothing items for feet, they buy several identical pieces with the same characteristics: color, material, length, etc., as these generally come in packages; Nevertheless, the main problem comes after each sock laundry cycle, it is quite lengthy and painful to identify each pair of socks, as this implies an arrangement and selection process to identify each pair of socks according to several characteristics, such as discoloration, changes in texture, elastic strength, sock age, etc.

Clothing items for feet (socks, stockings, tights and the like), which are currently in the market do not have any marks to help identify the pairs from the moment they are purchased until the end of their useful life.

After carrying out a search to determine the closest status of the technique, the following documents were found:

Document CN201691071U by Hong Wan dated Dec. 30, 2019, was found, revealing a sock, specifically a sock that can be washed with its pair. The objective is to provide a sock which can be washed along its pair. The integrity of the sock is not damaged, and the paired-up socks can be connected anywhere. The objective is reached through the following technical scheme each sock can be washed in pairs, that is a portion of the foot sleeve in the lower part of the sock, and a portion of the leg of the sock in the upper end of the sock, a connection band attached to the sock and both ends of the connection band are respectively and firmly attached to the socks. The connection band can be firmly attached to the sleeve of the foot, the upper end of the sock or the inner part of the sock. The connection band number can be one or more. The utility model can be used for all kinds of paired-up socks.

Nevertheless, such document does not allow for clothing items for feet to be identified at all times, before, during or after washing, it only allows for socks to be washed in pairs.

Due to the need of counting on a method to identify the pairs of clothing items for feet, the invention herein was invented.

INVENTION OBJECTIVE

This invention is primarily intended to make a method to identify the pairs of clothing items for feet available, which allows pairs to be identified from the moment they are purchased until the end of their useful life.

Another objective of the invention is to provide such method to identify the pairs of clothing items for feet, which also significantly reduces the time it takes after the laundry cycle to identify each item and its pair.

Another objective of the invention is to provide such method to identify the pairs of clothing items for feet, which also makes sure the clothing item for feet always remains with its original pair.

Another objective of the invention is to provide such method to identify the pairs of clothing items for feet, which also makes sure the pairs of clothing items for feet being used have the same characteristics regarding color, texture, elastic life, etc., as they will have the exact same age and number of laundry cycles.

All these qualities and objectives will become evident when making a general and detailed description of this invention, supported by the illustrated modalities.

INVENTION DESCRIPTION

In general, the method to identify the pairs of clothing items for feet, according to the invention herein, consists of applying the same identification mark to the lower or upper (leg) external part of each pair of clothing items for feet, where the same mark is applied, either a number, a symbol, a geometric shape, a regular or irregular shape, a diagram, a letter of any alphabet, pictograms or a combination thereof.

Such identification mark relates to the colors or combination of colors, two pairs can have the same identification mark, in a different color.

One of the preferred modalities o the invention, such mark is applied through a printing method, stitching, sewing, stamping, labelling, sublimation, dyeing, or any other feasible technique.

In another one of the modalities of the invention, it also includes the commercial brand of the product, in addition to the identification mark.

The numbers on the pairs of clothing items for feet in the same package would be different and consecutive, for example, in a sock pack of clothing items, one pair would be labelled with number one, the next, with number two, and so on, until reaching number six.

In addition, to solve the problem of people with more then one package of clothing items, there would be packages with the same characteristics, with the following consecutive numbers, that is, an additional package would have pairs of clothing items with numbers seven to twelve, another package with numbers thirteen to eighteen, another package with number nineteen to twenty-four, etc.

For packages with three pairs of clothing items, the first package would contain numbers from one to three, the second package, from four to six, and so on.

For packages with five pairs of clothing items, the first package would contain numbers from one to five, the second package, from six to ten, and so on.

This very methodology can be applied to any number of pairs of socks in a package, combining several colors.

In case a symbol, a geometric figure, a regular or irregular shape, diagram, a letter from any alphabet, pictograms are to be applied, the same symbol will be used for the same pair of clothing items, which can be combined with different colors and designs.

To better understand the invention characteristics, the following description is included, as an integral part thereof, drawings are included, in an illustrative but not restrictive way, which are fully described below.
