Claims
- 1) An apparatus for making dental appliances comprising of:
a) a dental flask b) a press c) a jack d) injector wherein the press contains an turn screw to hold the dental flask in place within the press, wherein the injector comprises of an piston situated into a cylinder containing dental appliance material; wherein the jack compresses the piston situated into the cylinder containing dental appliance material to inject the said dental material into the dental flask.
- 2) An apparatus for making dental appliances of claim 1, wherein the jack is hydraulically operated.
- 3) An apparatus for making dental appliances of claim 1, wherein the jack is pneumatically operated.
- 4) An apparatus for making dental appliances of claim 1, wherein the dental flask further comprises of a compression plate and retention cavities.
- 5) An apparatus for making dental appliances of claim 1, wherein the press further comprises an assembly receptacle and a disassembly receptacle.
- 6) An apparatus for making dental appliances of claim 5, wherein the press further comprises of a turn screw plate and plurality of retaining pins.
- 7) An apparatus for making a dental appliance of claim 1, wherein the dental material is contained in an open ended bag.
- 8) An apparatus for making a dental appliance of claim 1, wherein the opened bag is plastic.
- 9) An apparatus for making a dental appliance of claim 7, wherein the open end of the bag is positioned into the cylinder by a wire loop.
- 10) An apparatus for making a dental appliance of claim 1 wherein the apparatus is further comprised of a retractor.
- 11) An apparatus for making a dental appliance of claim 10 wherein the retractor is U-shaped and is comprised of an upper arm with a screw depression and a lower arm with a piston channel.
- 12) A method of deflasking a dental flask containing a mold, comprised of:
a) placing a dental flask within a press; b) inserting a retaining pin end of the retaining pin into a retention cavity of a dental flask; c) placing a turning screw plate onto the dental flask; and d) compressing the turn screw plate to eject at least a portion of the mold from the dental flask.
- 13) A method of deflasking a dental flask of claim 12, wherein the turn screw plate is compressed by the turn screw.
- 14) A method of deflasking a dental flask of claim 12, wherein the turn screw plate is compressed by the jack.
- 15) A method of deflasking a dental flask of claim 12, wherein the additional step is partially inserting a retaining pin though retaining pin aperture of the press.
- 17) A method of orienting an open ended bag containing dental appliance material into the injector of an apparatus for making dental appliances, the injector comprising of at least a dual open ended cylinder and a piston, comprised of:
a) threading a portion of the wire loop through the dual opened cylinder; b) placing at least a portion of the opened ended bag containing dental appliance through at least a portion of the wire loop; and c) withdrawing the wire loop through the cylinder.
- 18) A method of orienting an open ended bag claimed in claim 17 wherein the additional step is withdrawing at least a portion of the open ended bag into the cylinder.
- 19) A method of orienting an open ended bag claimed in claim 18, wherein the additional step is the passing of at least a portion of the open ended bag though through both ends of cylinder.
- 20) A method of orienting an open ended bag claimed in claim 17, wherein the addition step is the trimming the open ended bag.
