The present invention relates to computer technology fields, and more particularly to an information technique of output-control.
In a computer device, it is necessary to provide functions for friendly and convenient Human Computer Interaction/Interface (HCI) and User Interface (UI). Such above two functions are one of the key technologies for computers.
Along with the rapid development of computer technology, more and more various applications of display techniques are emerging, especially in computer and communication fields. Though the size of a display has become much larger, users still prefer a larger visual display screen. In particularly, a larger display space is desired on various HCI, digital and electronic display devices such as desktop computers, laptop computers, palmtop computers, mobile telephones, Personal Digital Assistants (PDA), Personal Information Manager (PIM), tablet Personal Computer (PC), whiteboards and electronic whiteboards.
In a digital, electronic and the other display device such as a Windows computer system, when office application software, drawing software (e.g. photoshop, view, ACDSee and etc.) and adobe software are running, various files may be moved in a two-dimension mode on the window of the display device.
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for controlling output of multidimensional information and also provides an input apparatus, so as to simplify the operating procedure for controlling the output of the multidimensional information and improve the efficiency of controlling the output of the multidimensional information.
In accordance with an embodiments of the present invention, a method for controlling output of multi-dimension information is provided, wherein, at least one parameter for determining more than one offset respectively in more than one dimension is predefined, wherein each parameter corresponds to at least one dimension and is for determining at least one offset respectively in the at least one dimension, and one dimension is corresponded to one parameter, the method including:
collecting the value of the at least one parameter inputted,
determining more than one offset respectively in the more than one dimension for the current output information according to the collected value of the at least one parameter, and
outputting relative position relationship information between the current output information and the output unit to which the current output information belongs.
In accordance with an embodiments of the present invention, an apparatus for controlling output of multidimensional information is provided, wherein, at least one parameter for determining more than one offset respectively in more than one dimension is predefined, wherein each parameter corresponds to at least one dimension and is for determining at least one offset respectively in the at least one dimension, and one dimension is corresponded to one parameter, the apparatus including:
a moving distance and moving direction determining unit, adapted for determining more than one offset respectively in the more than one dimension for the current output information according to the collected value of the at least one parameter;
a display information movement processing unit, adapted for moving the current output information according to the more than one offset respectively in the more than one dimension determined by the moving distance and moving direction determining unit and outputting the moved output information; and
a relative position relationship displaying unit, adapted for outputting the relative position relationship information between the current output information and the output unit to which the current output information belongs according to the more than one offset respectively in the more than one dimension determined by the moving distance and moving direction determining unit.
In accordance with an embodiments of the present invention, an input apparatus is provided, wherein, at least one parameter for determining more than one offset respectively in more than one dimension is predefined, wherein each parameter corresponds to at least one dimension and is for determining at least one offset respectively in the at least one dimension, and one dimension is corresponded to one parameter, the apparatus including: a means for inputting the at least one parameter simultaneously; wherein, the at least one parameter is collected by an output apparatus to output relative position relationship information between the current output information and the output unit to which the current output information belongs.
Applicant of the present invention finds that:
Output information can be moved in a two-dimension mode according to the prior art, however, during the movement in the two-dimension mode, the corresponding operation process is relatively complicated since the restriction of the device's functions, and it is impossible to implement the multidimensional movement simultaneously.
In addition, when there are multiple independent display units to be displayed, a user can not select to display and output a designated display unit flexibly and conveniently.
To sum up, there exist the following problems in HCI environment and other digital and electronic display processing devices:
(1) It is impossible to move or select the position, page or file to be displayed randomly and simultaneously in a multidimensional mode;
(2) The position displayed currently is changed slowly, inaccurately and inflexibly.
Therefore, in accordance with an invention provided by Applicant, the display processing device may be applied more flexibly and conveniently, multidimensional and simultaneous movement implemented in the display and input control procedure is more rapid, convenient, flexible and with spaces being saved, and a rapid selection of candidate display information can also be implemented, so that, better visual experiences and larger visual spaces are brought to the display processing device's users. An embodiment of the present invention is to provide a method and apparatus for controlling output of the multidimensional information and also provide an input apparatus, so as to control the output information flexibly and conveniently. Herein, the output in the present invention refers to displaying information in a window, outputting information to a printer, or outputting information to a cache. In the following embodiments, the output refers to the displaying the information in the window.
A method for controlling display of the multidimensional information provided by the present invention includes: setting, in advance, a corresponding relationship between the moving distance and moving direction information in multidimensional directions of the display information and the multidimensional parameter information, so that the moving distance and moving direction information of the current display information is controlled according to the corresponding relationship and the collected multidimensional parameter information, for example, for the two-dimension display information, the moving distance and moving direction in any direction on a two-dimension plane may be controlled according to the inputted multidimensional parameter information. Where, the moving distance and moving direction information in multidimensional directions may be named as more than one offset respectively in more than one dimensions; and the multidimensional parameter information may refer to the value of at least one predefined parameter for determining the more than one offset respectively in the more than one dimension, wherein each parameter corresponds to at least one dimension and is for determining at least one offset respectively in the at least one dimension, and one dimension is corresponded to one parameter.
After the corresponding relationship is set, the corresponding process of controlling the display of the multidimensional information may include: first, collecting multidimensional parameter information inputted, and determining the moving distance and moving direction information in multidimensional directions of the current display information according to the multidimensional parameter information; secondly, moving the current display information according to the moving distance and moving direction information in multidimensional directions, and displaying (outputting) the display information being moved; at the same time, displaying (outputting) the relative position relationship information between the current display information and all the forthcoming display information to which the current display information belongs where all the forthcoming display information can be regarded as an output unit (e.g., a document, a page of a document, a layer of a page or etc.), so that a user is able to acquire the relative position of the current display information in all the forthcoming display information. Herein, the corresponding relationship may refer to a function related with the multidimensional parameter information and the moving distance and moving direction information, or refer to a table recording the multidimensional parameter information and the moving distance and moving direction information thereof, where, the moving distance and moving direction information may be calculated using the multidimensional parameter information according to the function, and alternatively, the moving distance and moving direction information may be obtained by searching the table with the multidimensional parameter information.
In practical applications of the present invention, in the process of determining the moving distance and moving direction information of the current display information in multidimensional directions according to the multidimensional parameter information, the moving distance and moving direction information may be adjusted according to the corresponding linear or nonlinear function, or the corresponding continuous or discontinuous function, and the adjusted information is regarded as the practical moving distance and moving direction information. And alternatively, the corresponding moving distance and moving direction information may be directly regarded as the practical moving distance and moving direction information. For example, in a two-dimension plane, the moving distance and moving direction information of the current display information in a two-dimension coordinate system may be adjusted in both two dimensional directions simultaneously according to certain linear or nonlinear relationship, so as to acquire the adjusted practical moving distance and moving direction information.
In practical applications of the present invention, in the process of moving the current display information (supposing it is a display page), components indicating the movement of the display unit such as a horizontal scroll bar, a vertical scroll bar or a window component may also be controlled to change in comply with the movement of the current display page, so that the present invention is compatible with other controlling operations of display output in applications.
In practical applications of the present invention, the multidimensional parameter may include but not limited to at least one of a pressure parameter, an electromagnetic quantity parameter, an energy parameter, a time parameter and a displacement parameter. The pressure parameter may be collected by a pressure sensor. The electromagnetic quantity parameter may be collected by an electromagnetic quantity parameter inputting apparatus. The energy parameter may be inputted by an energy inputting apparatus. The time parameter may be inputted by an operating key, an input apparatus or a unit of an input apparatus, and an internal clock, e.g. after an operation on a key, an input apparatus, a unit of an input apparatus pen-point input or a touch-screen such as sliding is implemented, the information can be moved a predetermined distance at certain time according to the time value of an internal clock. And the displacement parameter can be collected by a touch board, a touch screen, a mouse or an input pen.
Moreover, in order to collect a parameter conveniently by the part for controlling the display, corresponding information may be configured, including at least one of: a designated key, a designated input apparatus, a designated unit of an input apparatus (it may be a single key or the combination of multiple keys, single-click or multi-click on which is applicable), a designated pressure parameter, a designated electromagnetic quantity parameter, a designated energy parameter, a designated time parameter and a designated displacement parameter. The input of at least one of the key, the input apparatus or the unit of the input apparatus, the pressure, the electromagnetic quantity, the energy, the time and the displacement means that a user needs to input the multidimensional parameter to control the display procedure. At this point, the process for collecting the inputted multidimensional parameter information may include: if it is determined that it is needed to input the multidimensional parameter information according to at least one of an inputted parameter of a key, an input apparatus or a unit of an input apparatus, a pressure parameter, an electromagnetic quantity parameter, an energy parameter, a time parameter and a displacement parameter, collecting the multidimensional parameter information inputted via an input apparatus, so that the display can be controlled according to the multidimensional parameter information to meet the user's requirement for moving the display information of the current display screen. Any other input apparatus, any other unit of one or more input apparatus, or any combination thereof may also be used to indicating that a user needs to input the multidimensional parameter.
In the above-mentioned, the “input” includes a linear or nonlinear relationship, a continuous or discontinuous quantity, or “input apparatus”. And the “input apparatus” includes a device or object capable of inputting a linear or nonlinear relationship, or a continuous or discontinuous quantity, and the “input apparatus” refers to one or more things capable of inputting one or multiple variables simultaneously or asynchronously, such as a device or object, part or member of an device or object, the software being used, a part, control or button of the software. The “input apparatus” includes but not limited to at least one of: a mouse, an input pen, a keyboard, an input glove, an input clothes, a finger, a part of a body, a body, an object, an inductor or sensor device, any object having action, vision, dumb show, sign language, voice, or any object with a machine, physics, chemistry, life or society movement form. And a “identity graphic” including a cursor and arrowhead may also be a kind of the “input apparatus”.
In specific applications of the present invention, whether to display the indication graphic of the “relative position relationship information between the current display information and all the forthcoming display information to which the current display information belongs” may further be controlled according to the user's requirement. Correspondingly, a display sign of the relative position relationship may be set, where, if the sign is valid, it is indicated that a user wants to display the relative position relationship information, and if the sign is invalid, it is indicated that the user does not want to display the relative position relationship information. Therefore, the process of displaying (outputting) the relative position relation information between the current display information and all the forthcoming display information to which the current display information belongs includes: displaying (outputting) the relative position relationship information between the current display information and all the forthcoming display information to which the current display information before upon the set display sign of the relative position relationship is identified as valid.
In specific applications of the present invention, corresponding display effect indication information of the relative position relationship may also be set to meet the customized requirement of users, according to which, the displaying of the position, color, gray scale, shape and/or transparency of the relative position relationship information may be controlled. Therefore, the process of displaying (outputting) the relative position relationship information between the current display information and all the forthcoming display information to which the current display information belongs may further include: identifying the display effect indication information of the relative position relationship set by a user, and displaying (outputting) the relative position relationship information between the current display information and all the forthcoming display information to which the current display information belongs according to the display effect indication information relative position relation.
The present invention further provides an apparatus for controlling output of the multidimensional information, the specific structure of the apparatus is as shown in
(1) A Corresponding Relationship Storage Unit
The unit is mainly used for storing the preconfigured corresponding relationship of the moving distance and moving direction information in multidimensional directions of the display information and the multidimensional parameter information, so that, by using the collected multidimensional parameter information, the moving distance and moving direction of the current display information is controlled according to the corresponding relationship. For example, for three-dimension display information, the moving distance and moving direction in any dimensional direction on a three-dimension space may be controlled according to the inputted multidimensional parameter information.
(2) A Moving Distance and Moving Direction Determining Unit
The unit is mainly used for, by use of the information stored in the corresponding relationship storage unit, computing or determining the moving distance and moving direction information of the display information in multidimensional directions according to the inputted multidimensional parameter information. In a two-dimension plane or in a space with no less than three dimensions, it is necessary to determine the moving distance and moving direction information in each dimensional direction respectively. For example, for a two-dimension plane, it is necessary to determine respectively the moving distance and moving direction in the horizontal coordinate direction of two-dimension coordinates and those in the vertical coordinate direction of the two-dimension coordinates.
(3) A Display Information Movement Processing Unit
The unit is mainly used for moving the current display information according to the moving distance and moving direction information of the current display information in multidimensional directions determined by the moving distance and moving direction determining unit, and outputting the display information being moved, e.g. the display information is moved under control by a moving distance and a moving direction in each dimensional direction simultaneously according to the determined moving distance and moving direction information in multidimensional direction, so that the movement of the display information is controlled rapidly and conveniently.
In the above-mentioned, the display information movement processing unit may specifically include:
a moving distance and moving direction information acquiring unit, used for acquiring the multidimensional parameter information collected by the moving distance and moving direction determining unit, and determining the moving distance and moving direction information of the current display information in each dimensional direction respectively. For example, in a three-dimension space, the moving distance and moving direction in each dimensional direction is determined respectively.
a movement performing unit, used for moving the current display information in each dimensional direction simultaneously according to the moving distance or/and moving direction information in each dimensional direction acquired by the moving distance and moving direction information acquiring unit, so as to control the movement of the display information rapidly.
(4) A Relative Position Relationship Displaying Unit
The unit is mainly used for displaying (outputting) the relative position relationship information between the current display information and all the forthcoming display information to which the current display information belongs according to the moving distance and moving direction information of the current display information in multidimensional directions determined by the moving distance and moving direction determining unit, so that a user is able to acquire the relative position of the current display information in all the forthcoming display information.

The graphics shown in the figures can be set between transparent and opaque; when the graphics are transparent, those under the graphics will be completely visible. Since only the part to be displayed is displayed and the indicating graphic is hidden, the display space can be larger and the space can be fully utilized base on more accurate, faster and more convenient indicating tool that has almost all the functions of a mouse. The technical scheme can be applied to all related display applications in the field of IT and automatic mechanics, and is even more suitable for devices with small display space, such as mobile phones, PDA and PIM.
Optionally, the apparatus may further include: an input parameter collecting unit, used for collecting at least one of an inputted pressure parameter, an inputted electromagnetic quantity parameter, an inputted energy parameter, an inputted time parameter and an inputted displacement parameter, and transmitting the parameter(s) collected to the moving distance and moving direction determining unit.
Optionally, the apparatus may further include: an input identification processing unit, used for informing the input parameter collecting unit that the multidimensional parameter information is to be collected after determining that it is needed to input the multidimensional parameter information according to the inputted parameter of a key, an input apparatus or a unit of an input apparatus.
Optionally, in order to automatically control in the apparatus whether to display the relative position relationship information between the current display information and all the forthcoming display information to which the current display information belongs according to the user's requirement, the apparatus may further include: a display controlling unit, used for informing the relative position relationship displaying unit that the relative position relationship information is to be displayed after the set relative position relationship display identifier is identified as valid, where, if the identifier is valid, it indicates that a user wants the relative position relationship information to be displayed, and if the identifier is invalid, it indicates that a user does not want the relative position relationship information to be displayed.
Optionally, corresponding display effect indication information of the relative position relationship may also be set in the apparatus to meet the customized requirement of users, so that the position, color, gray scale, shape and/or transparency of the relative position relationship information may be displayed under control according to the display effect indication information. Therefore, the apparatus may further include: a display effect indicating unit, used for identifying the set display effect indication information of the relative position relationship, and controlling the relative position relationship displaying unit to display the relative position relationship information according to the display effect indication information of the relative position relationship.

In Step 1, determine whether the clicked key of the mouse is a predetermined key and the clicking times of the key meet a predetermined requirement. If it is determined that the clicked key is the predetermined key and the clicking times of the key meet the predetermined requirement, determine that it is needed to control the movement of the display information in the three-dimension space. For example, supposing that the predetermined key is the middle key of mouse and the predetermined requirement is that the clicking times of the key is even integer, it is to determine whether the middle key of the mouse is clicked, and whether the clicking times of the key are even integer is determined if the middle key of mouse is clicked. And if the clicking times of the key are even integer, it indicates that the predetermined requirement is met.
In Step 2, collect the mouse movement parameter and the inputted pressure parameter in real time.
In Step 3, determine whether the current inputted pressure parameter meets the predetermined requirement. For example, determine whether the inputted value of the pressure parameter is in a predetermined pressure value range. If the determining result is yes, proceed to Step 4, and if the determining result is no, output an error indication and prompt to input a pressure value again.
In Step 4, collect the inputted pressure parameter, match the inputted pressure parameter with the saved corresponding relationship to determine the moving distance and moving direction information corresponding to the currently inputted pressure parameter, and regard the moving distance and moving direction information as the moving distance and moving direction of the current display information in the third dimensional (depth) direction. And match the collected displacement parameter of the mouse movement with the saved corresponding relation to determine the moving distance and moving direction information corresponding to the collected displacement parameter of the mouse movement, and regard the moving distance and moving direction as the moving distance and moving direction information of the current display information in the two-dimension plane. Herein, the moving distance and moving direction information corresponding to the currently inputted pressure parameter is determined by matching the inputted pressure parameter according to the saved corresponding relationship, where, the corresponding relationship may refer to a function and the matching refers to calculating the moving distance and moving direction information using the value of the pressure parameter according to the function, and alternatively, the corresponding relationship may refer to a table and the matching refers to mapping the currently inputted pressure parameter to the corresponding moving distance and moving direction information according to the table.
In Step 5, respectively move the current display information in three dimensional directions simultaneously, and adjust the relative position condition of the current display information in all the forthcoming display information on the display screen according to the movement condition.
In the above-mentioned, the moving distance and moving direction in each dimensional direction is determined according to the processing result of Step 4.
On the contrary, the relative position condition of the outputted display information in all the forthcoming display information may be adjusted on the display screen by an input apparatus or finger, and then the current display information may be moved in each of the three dimensional directions simultaneously, so that the relative position between the current display information and all the forthcoming display information is changed correspondingly in the three dimensional directions.
To sum up, embodiments of the present invention provides a technical solution for moving the current display information conveniently, rapidly, flexibly and accurately. The technical solution provided by the embodiments of the present invention has the following advantages according to the above description:
(1) It is possible to move the corresponding display information in the multidimensional mode randomly and simultaneously, and a user is able to acquire the relative position relationship between the current display information and all forthcoming display information;
(2) It is possible to change the current display position rapidly, flexibly and accurately, so that the display is controlled more conveniently.[0][0][0]

Any change or substitution, within the technical scope disclosed by the present invention, obvious to those skilled in the art should be covered by the protection scope of the present invention.
