Claims
- 1. A method for preparing a conductive carbon black-containing electric conductor comprising the steps of:
- kneading (a) conductive resin master batch pellets of conductive carbon black and a thermoplastic resin in which the conductive carbon black accounts for 5 to 50% by weight relative to the total amount 100 parts by weight of the conductive carbon black and the thermoplastic resin, and (b) a thermoplastic resin in a weight ratio: (a+b)/(a) ranging from 1.01 to 1.5 and then
- extrusion-molding the resulting kneaded product.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein the kneading step is followed by a step of preparing conductive resin pellets, and then extrusion molding the conductive resin pellets.
- 3. The method of claim 2 wherein in the kneading step, (a) the conductive resin master batch pellets and (b) the thermoplastic resin are kneaded with an inorganic filler, followed by a step of preparing conductive resin pellets, and then extrusion molding the conductive resin pellets.
- 4. The method of claim 2 wherein in the kneading step, (a) the conductive resin master batch pellets and (b) the thermoplastic resin are kneaded with an inorganic filler, the kneading step being carried out at a temperature ranging from 150 to 380.degree. C. for 5 to 30 minutes when the kneading device is a mixer, or 20 seconds to one minute when the device is an extruder.
- 5. The method of claim 4 wherein the inorganic filler is used in an amount ranging from 7 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the conductive resin master batch pellets and the thermoplastic resin.
- 6. The method of claim 2 wherein the kneading is carried out in a twin-screw extruder to give conductive resin pellets, and then the conductive resin pellets are injection molded.
