- 9. The method of treating recited in claim 8 wherein said step of treating includes treating bacterial vaginosis.
- 10. The method of treating recited in claim 8 wherein said step of treating includes treating bacterial sexually transmitted diseases.
- 11. The method of treating recited in claim 8 wherein said step of treating includes treating abnormal non-lactobacilli bacterial conditions.
- 12. The method of treating recited in claim 1 wherein said step of repeating includes treating an abnormal inflammatory condition.
- 13. The method of treating recited in claim 12 wherein said step of treating includes treating vaginismus.

- 19. The method of treating recited in claim 18 wherein said step of treating includes treating viral sexually transmitted diseases.
- 20. The method of treating recited in claim 1 wherein said step of repeating includes treating an abnormal neoplastic condition.
- 21. The method of treating recited in claim 20 wherein said step of treating includes treating vulvar dysplasia.
- 22. The method of treating recited in claim 20 wherein said step of treating includes treating vaginal dysplasia.
- 23. The method of treating recited in claim 20 wherein said step of treating includes treating cervical dysplasia.
- 24. The method of treating recited in claim 1 and further including, prior to said steps of introducing, the step of measuring vaginal pH.
- 25. The method of treating recited in claim 1 wherein said step of supplying includes supplying about 32 ounces of water to the vaginal canal.
- 26. The method of treating recited in claim 1 wherein said step of repeating includes repeating said steps of introducing, supplying and withdrawing at least every two days until symptoms of the abnormal biological condition disappear.
- 27. The method of treating recited in claim 26 wherein said step of repeating includes repeating said steps of introducing, supplying and withdrawing every day for 7 to 21 days.
- 28. The method of treating recited in claim 24 wherein said step of repeating includes repeating said steps of introducing, supplying and withdrawing at more frequent regular intervals where the measured vaginal pH is greater than 4.5 and less than 4.0 and at less frequent regular intervals where the measured vaginal pH is in the range of 4.0 to 4.5.
- 29. A method of treating an abnormal biological condition arising in or affecting the vagina, comprising the steps of
introducing a vaginal douche applicator having an external surface of stainless steel in the vaginal canal so that the external surface is in contact with the vaginal wall; supplying a flow of plain water to the vaginal douche applicator; discharging the water from the vaginal douche applicator into the vaginal canal; withdrawing the vaginal douche applicator from the vaginal canal upon termination of the flow of water; and repeating said steps of introducing, supplying, discharging and withdrawing at regular intervals to normalize or prevent the abnormal biological condition.
- 30. The method of treating recited in claim 29 and further comprising the step of moving the vaginal douche applicator longitudinally, rotationally and laterally within the vaginal canal as the water is discharged from the vaginal douche applicator into the vaginal canal.
- 31. A method of treating abnormal biological conditions arising in or affecting the vagina, comprising the steps of
introducing a treatment device having an external surface of stainless steel in the vaginal canal within eight hours following intercourse; supplying a flow of water to the vaginal canal while the treatment device is disposed therein; withdrawing the treatment device from the vaginal canal upon termination of the flow of water; and repeating said steps of introducing, supplying and withdrawing within eight hours following each occurrence of intercourse to normalize or prevent the abnormal biological conditions.
- 32. The method of treating recited in claim 31 wherein said step of supplying comprises moving the treatment device longitudinally, rotationally and laterally within the vaginal canal.
