Claims
- 1. A method of treating a Pin1 associated disorder in a subject comprising,
administering to a subject an effective amount of an inhibitor of Pin1 activity having any one or more of the following moieties:A-B-C-D-Ewherein A is a hydrophobic pocket interacting moiety; wherein B is a cysteine/serine valley interacting moiety; wherein C is a phosphate pocket interacting moiety; wherein D is a substrate-entry groove interacting moiety; and wherein E is a lip region interacting moiety; such that said Pin1 disorder is treated.
- 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the Pin1 inhibitor comprises two of said moieties.
- 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the Pin1 inhibitor comprises three of said moieties.
- 4. The method of claim 1, wherein the Pin1 inhibitor comprises four of said moieties.
- 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the Pin1 inhibitor comprises A, B, C, D and E.
- 6. The method of any one of claims 1-5, wherein at least two of said moieties are covalently linked.
- 7. The method of claim 6, wherein at least 3 of the covalent moieties are covalently linked.
- 8. The method of claim 6, wherein at least 4 of the covalent moieties are covalently linked.
- 9. The method of claim 6, wherein five of the covalent moieties are covalently linked.
- 10. The method of claim 1, wherein said subject is administered a second chemotherapeutic agent.
- 11. The method of claim 7, wherein said second chemotherapeutic agent is radiation.
