Claims
- 1. A method of identifying a nucleic acid molecule associated with a condition or disorder selected from the group consisting of:
a) contacting a sample comprising nucleic acid molecules with a hybridization probe comprising at least 25 contiguous nucleotides of SEQ ID NO:1 OR 3; and detecting the presence of a nucleic acid molecule in said sample that hybridizes to said probe, and b) contacting a sample comprising nucleic acid molecules with a first and a second amplification primer, said first primer comprising at least 25 contiguous nucleotides of SEQ ID NO:1 OR 3, and said second primer comprising at least 25 contiguous nucleotides from the complement of SEQ ID NO:1 OR 3,; incubating said sample under conditions that allow nucleic acid amplification; and detecting the presence of a nucleic acid molecule in said sample that is amplified, thereby identifying a nucleic acid molecule associated with a condition or disorder.
- 2. A method of identifying a polypeptide associated with a condition ordisorder comprising:
a) contacting a sample comprising polypeptides with a 69039 binding substance; and b) detecting the presence of a polypeptide in said sample that binds to said 69039 binding substance, thereby identifying a polypeptide associated with a condition or disorder.
- 3. A method of identifying a subject having a condition or disorder, or at risk for developing a condition or disorder selected from the group consisting of:
a) contacting a sample obtained from said subject comprising nucleic acid molecules with a hybridization probe comprising at least 25 contiguous nucleotides of SEQ ID NO:1 OR 3,; and detecting the presence of a nucleic acid molecule in said sample that hybridizes to said probe; and b) contacting a sample obtained from said subject comprising nucleic acid molecules with a first and a second amplification primer, said first primer comprising at least 25 contiguous nucleotides of SEQ ID NO:1 OR 3, and said second primer comprising at least 25 contiguous nucleotides from the complement of SEQ ID NO:1 OR 3,; incubating said sample under conditions that allow nucleic acid amplification; and detecting the presence of a nucleic acid molecule in said sample that is amplified; thereby identifying a subject having a condition or disorder, or at risk for developing a condition or disorder.
- 4. A method of identifying a subject having a condition or disorder, or at risk for developing a condition or disorder comprising:
a) contacting a sample obtained from said subject comprising polypeptides with a 69039 binding substance; and b) detecting the presence of a polypeptide in said sample that binds to said 69039 binding substance, thereby identifying a subject having a condition or disorder, or at risk for developing a condition or disorder.
- 5. A method for treating a subject having a condition or a disorder characterized by aberrant 69039 polypeptide activity or aberrant 69039 nucleic acid expression comprising administering to the subject a 69039 modulator, thereby treating said subject having a condition or disorder.
- 6. The method of claim 5 wherein the modulator is selected from the group consisting of small organic molecules, peptides, polynucleotides and antibodies.
- 7. The method of any of claims 1-5 wherein the condition or disorder is a hematopoeitic disorder.
- 8. A method of detecting an agent that binds a 69039 polypeptide comprising:
a) combining an agent selected from the group consisting of small organic molecules, peptides, polynucleotides and antibodies; and b) detecting or measuring the formation of a complex between the agent and the 69039 polypeptide under conditions suitable for binding of an agent to the 69039 polypeptide, to thereby identify an agent that binds to the 69039 polypeptide.
- 9. The method of claim 7 wherein the agent is a modulator of 69039 polypeptide activity.
