Claims
- 1. A method for inhibiting the result of antibody-antigen reactions in mammals which comprises administration to a mammal susceptible to allergic reaction of an effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR21## wherein R.sup.1 is alkyl or alkoxy of one or two carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is alkyl or alkoxy of one or two carbon atoms, hydrogen, nitro or halogen, R.sup.3 is hydrogen or alkyl of one to four carbon atoms and n is zero, one or two, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
- 2. A method according to claim 1 wherein the compound is 8-(1H-tetrazol-5-ylcarbamoyl)quinoline.
- 3. A method according to claim 1 wherein the method of administration is by inhalation.
- 4. A method according to claim 1 wherein the method of administration is oral.
