Claims
- 1. A biologically pure culture of the microorganism Micromonospora carbonacea var africana having the identifying characteristics of NRRL 15099, said culture being capable of producing the antibiotic 13-384 complex in recoverable quantity upon fermentation, under aerobic conditions, in an aqueous nutrient medium containing assimilable sources of carbon and nitrogen.

This application is a divisional application of U.S. patent application Ser. No. 623,266, filed June 21, 1984, now U.S. Pat. No. 4,597,968 which is a continuation-in-part application of U.S. patent application Ser. No. 405,822, filed Aug. 6, 1982, now abandoned.
