Claims
- 1. The method for cleaning the interior of a microwave oven, consisting of, in combination:
a microwave oven's interior cooking space, consisting of the walls, ceiling and bottom of the oven and the microwave energy; means for providing a solution within a reservoir; means for solution to be heated, vaporized and deposited on the interior surfaces of the microwave oven, utilizing the microwave energy; and allowing time for dehydrated debris adhered to the interior surfaces of the microwave oven to absorb the deposited solution.
- 2. The method of claim 1 in which a portion of the said solution in the reservoir remains in the reservoir after the bombardment of microwave energy has ceased.
- 3. The method of claim 1 in which said solution is an aqueous, surfactant solution.
- 4. The method of claim 1 in which a sponge is attached to any side of the reservoir.
- 5. The method of claim 1 in which a membrane seal is outfitted over the reservoir.
- 6. The method of claim 1 contains microwave energy absorbing material to protect the oven during vapor phase.
- 7. The method of claim 1 in which the reservoir is consisting of a sponge or absorbent material.
- 8. The method of claim 7 in which a dehydrated solution is hydrated prior to use.
- 9. Microwave oven apparatus for cleaning the interior of the oven, consisting of, in combination:
a microwave oven's interior cooking space, consisting of the walls, ceiling and bottom of the oven and the microwave energy; means for providing a solution within a reservoir; means for solution to be heated, vaporized and deposited on the interior surfaces of the microwave oven, utilizing the microwave energy.
- 10. The apparatus of claim 9 in which a sponge is attached to any side of the reservoir.
- 11. The apparatus of claim 9 in which a membrane seal is outfitted over the reservoir.
- 12. The apparatus of claim 9 contains microwave energy absorbing material to protect the oven during vapor phase.
- 13. The apparatus of claim 9 in which a bottle hanger is attached.
- 14. The apparatus of claim 9 in which said solution is an aqueous, surfactant solution.
- 15. The apparatus of claim 9 in which the reservoir is consisting of a sponge or absorbent material.
- 16. The apparatus of claim 15 in which a dehydrated solution is hydrated prior to use.
- 17. The apparatus of claim 15 is equipped with a handle.
