Description
FIELD OF INVENTION

A shaving product/soap holder having a removable mirrored side and a side configured for attachment to a wall.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Shaving the face is typically done before a mirror. Shaving in the shower opens pores and softens whiskers. Typically this allows the hair to be shaved closer, as does the warmth of the shower.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The disclosed soap holding container device or shaving assembly has a mirror on one side and a suction cup, wall mount adhesive or the like or any other suitable wall mount configuration on the other side of a container housing.

A soap holder container has a mirror on a front side. The soap holder container may include soap attached to the inner side of the front wall of the container, which front wall has the mirror on the exterior. The soap holder may have a wall mounting means, the wall mounting or wall attachment means may include either a suction cup or adhesive tape. The soap holder container as set forth above may be round or square.

A shaving assembly comprising a bar of soap adapted for shaving, is configured to fit within the soap housing. A soap housing includes walls defining a front wall, side walls having a perimeter, and a rear wall. The front wall is configured to removably engage the side walls. The soap housing walls defining an interior and the front wall has a mirror on a front surface thereof and an inner surface configured to receive the soap thereon. The bar of soap is configured to fit within the soap housing interior.

FIG. 7 illustrates a side elevational view of an attachment means.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Applicant provides a shaving assembly including a container 10, which is comprised of a rectangular or circular container housing 12, which has a container front lid 14 comprising a front wall, vertically situated for removable attachment to side walls s/w of the container housing 12. Mirror 16 comprises all or part of a front wall of the container lid 14, which may include a perimeter 15 for snug, removable receipt onto the front perimeter or forward of the side walls s/w of the container housing 12.

The container may have a bottom wall B/W with drain holes 20 therein and a rear wall R/W, which is typically disposed opposite removable container front lid 14. Soap 18 may be attached by suitable means to the inner wall or face of container lid 14 and dimensioned for receipt into the interior of container housing 12. Extension members, such as a grid 17 (see FIG. 5) or any other suitable extension inward from inner wall or face of the container lid, may be used. Soap 18 may be pushed into or onto such extension members. Indeed, replacement soap bars may be used, so one may reuse the rest of the container.

A user in a shower may urge or press suction cup or adhesive tape or other attachments means 22 against a vertical wall surface, such as the wall of a shower, to hold the container thereon. He may remove removable container lid 14 with one hand. Having soap 18 attached to the inner face or wall of container lid 14 allows the user to soap up his face or other body parts with soap 18 and then place the removable container lid 14 with soap 18 attached to the inner face or wall thereof back onto container housing 12.

In one configuration, soap 18 is a suitable soap for use in shaving. One such suitable soap includes one or more of the following ingredients: 100% organic, pure saponified oils of Olive, Palm, Coconut and Jojoba, Shea Butter, Kaolin Clay, Spruce, Sage and Tea Tree essential oils, and Rosemary extract as antioxidant.

In another configuration, soap 18 is not attached to the inner surface of removable container lid 14, but is dimensioned for receipt within the interior of container housing 12 and is configured to be removed after container lid 14 is separately removed from the front perimeter of the container housing. That is, container lid 14 and soap 18 are integral in one configuration, but separate in another. Nonetheless, both configurations have a reflective surface, such as a mirror 16, on the front wall of the container lid 14. Mirror 16 is preferably plastic, shatterproof, and non-fogging as, for example, by known chemical coastings.

In one embodiment, the container lid is removable; in a second (not shown), the container lid is hinged, for example, at the top of the container housing. In the hinged lid embodiment, the soap may be attached or not to the back of the lid.

FIGS. 5 and 6 shows the rear wall having wall cutouts 24 configured to receive a boss 26 on a suction cup embodiment of attachment means 22. FIG. 5 also illustrates the use of ridge 19 along perimeter 15 of container front lid 14. Element 19 is positioned such that it mechanically catches to a ridge or detent 21 positioned on the inner surface of the upper side wall as seen in FIG. 5. Any suitable means, including a snug friction fit of the inner walls of perimeter 15 against the exterior front portion of the side walls, may also be used to maintain the container front lid engaged to the housing.

Other suitable attachment means 22 include double-stick tape on the rear wall. A hook 28 with a base 30, the base including adhesive means, such as double-stick tape is shown in FIG. 7. Hook 28 with double-stick tape will stick to a vertical surface and be received into appropriately configured walls/cutouts 24 of the rear wall of the container housing. Another means for attaching the housing to a wall includes a dab of flexible silicon adhesive.

The container lid 14 with the soap attached thereto is typically dimensioned so as to fit easily within the hand. This typically means that the longest dimension D (see FIG. 3) is usually about 4 inches.

Although the invention has been described in connection with the preferred embodiment, it is not intended to limit the invention's particular form set forth, but on the contrary, it is intended to cover such alterations, modifications, and equivalences that may be included in the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
