Claims
- 1. A polyol-chain extender mixture consisting of (1) a poly(oxypropylene-oxyethylene)polyol having a hydroxyl number of from about 20 to 60, an oxyethylene cap of from about 10 to 30 weight percent and an internal oxyethylene content of from about 30 to 60 weight percent and (2) ethylene glycol.
- 2. A polymer/polyol-chain extender mixture consisting essentially of: (1) a liquid polymer/polyol composition consisting essentially of: (a) from about 40 to 95 weight percent of a poly(oxypropylene-oxyethylene)polyol having ahydroxyl number of from 20 to 60, an oxyethylene cap of from about 10 to 30 weight percent and an internal oxyethylene content of from about 30 to 60 weight percent, and (b) from about 60 to about 5 weight percent of a polymer formed from an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, said polymer being in the form of particles that are stably dispersed in the polyol and said composition having been produced by polymerizing the monomer in the polyol, and (2) ethylene glycol.
