The mobile information terminal equipment of claim 1 further comprising:a reservation application among the applications executed in information terminal mode, and wherein the reservation application has an input screen on which information necessary for reservation is input and then transmitted.
- 11. The mobile information terminal equipment of claim 3 further comprising:a voice output unit and a telephone keyboard used in telephone mode; an application which has an application screen on which data can be input/output in information terminal mode, and wherein an input request from an opposite party is made by one of outputting the input request into the voice output unit and displaying the input request on the application screen display unit, and a response to the opposite party is input from the telephone keyboard in telephone mode, wherein an input request from the opposite party is displayed on the application screen and a response to the opposite party is input onto the application screen in information terminal mode, and wherein the application can be executed in telephone mode and in information terminal mode.
- 12. The mobile information terminal equipment of claim 1,wherein a content of the display unit in telephone mode is selected and discarded before being displayed on the display unit when transitioning from the information terminal mode to the telephone mode.
- 13. The mobile information terminal equipment of claim 1 further comprising:a telephone keyboard for inputting data in telephone mode; wherein the application is executed one of by limiting its functions and by selecting and discarding the information to be displayed on said display unit in the information terminal mode.
- 14. A method of controlling a mobile information terminal device having a plurality of applications each of which includes one or more corresponding application screens, comprising:executing a first one of the applications when the device is in a telephone mode; transitioning from the telephone mode to an information terminal mode; selecting possible subsequent screens from among the application screens according to a transition condition; and determining one application screen to be subsequently displayed from among the possible subsequent screens according to results of a scan of information relating to the transition condition.
- 15. The method according to claim 14, further comprising:associating the transition condition and a subsequent screen for each of the applications to create a transition table, said determining step determining the subsequent screen based on the transition table.
- 16. The method according to claim 14, therein the transition condition includes a user setting, the method further comprising:permitting a user to arbitrarily set a subsequent screen as user information in accordance with a current use status of the device, said selecting step selecting possible subsequent screens based on the user setting, said determining step determining the subsequent screen according to results of a scan of the user information.
- 17. The method according to claim 14, wherein the transition condition includes a history setting, the method further comprising:storing the use status of the device and associated history of subsequent screens as historical information, said selecting step selecting possible subsequent screens based on the history setting, said determining step determining the subsequent screen according to results of a scan of the historical information.
- 18. The method according to claim 14, wherein the transition condition includes a talk log setting, the method further comprising:storing talk log information of the telephone mode including the subsequent screen displayed during telephone talk, said selecting step selecting the possible subsequent screens based on the talk log setting, said determining step determining the subsequent screen according to results of a scan of the talk log information.
