SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The following presents a simplified summary in order to provide a basic understanding of some aspects of the disclosed innovation. This summary is not an extensive overview, and it is not intended to identify key/critical elements or to delineate the scope thereof. Its sole purpose is to present some general concepts in a simplified form as a prelude to the more detailed description that is presented later.

The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises a baby wipe warmer device. The device is a container for body wipes comprising a body component that is configured in a rectangular shape and that is typically constructed of plastic. The main compartment of the body component comprises a lid and a sponge that can soak water and keep the wet wipes moist. Further, the body component comprises a lower compartment that contains batteries and an electrical charging port to power the heating mechanism, which warms the wipes.

In one embodiment, the baby wipe warmer device comprises a body component partitioned into a main compartment and a lower compartment. The main compartment retains a plurality of wipes and liquid inside. The lower compartment comprises a heating mechanism and batteries and an electrical charging port. The batteries and/or electrical plug for the charging port power the heating mechanism, which produces heat to warm the body wipes stored within the main compartment.

In one embodiment, the main compartment comprises a bottom and opposing side walls so as to contain the liquid and the plurality of wipes. Specifically, positioned above the bottom and within the inner area, there may be a raised platform component with a plurality of slots to allow liquid to pass through, as needed. The raised platform component acts to uphold and separate the wipes away from the bottom of the main compartment, to prevent the wipes from overheating and discoloring.

In one embodiment, the main compartment comprises a lid for enclosing the compartment. Thus, the inner area of the main compartment is an entirely closed space, such that any moisture or liquid enclosed within this area may escape only through the plurality of slots, as needed. In one embodiment, the lid is secured to the main compartment via a hinge. This way, the lid serves as a pivoting cover of the device. In other embodiments, the lid can be a snap-on lid and can completely detach from the main compartment, as needed. One of skill in the art would immediately recognize other typical ways to use and couple the lid to the device. Further, the lid can comprise a clasp or other locking feature, to secure the lid in place as needed.

In one embodiment, the main compartment comprises a sponge. The sponge is typically a flat, dense sponge that can soak water and keep the plurality of wipes moist, even while being heated by the heating mechanism. The sponge is typically the same size and shape of the main compartment and/or the same size and shape of the wipes. In use, the sponge typically rests on top of the plurality of wipes. In another embodiment, the sponge can rest below the plurality of wipes, depending on the needs and/or wants of a user and the amount of wipes stacked within the main compartment.

In one embodiment, the main compartment comprises a top component that is positioned on top of the plurality of wipes and comprises a slit opening in the middle of the top component, through which single wipes would be pulled out of the main compartment for use. The top component would control the amount of wipes pulled out of the main compartment at one time. The top component allows a single wipe to be pulled through the slit opening and a second single wipe to pop-up and be partially exposed from the slit opening, such as in a tissue box.

In one embodiment, the lower compartment comprises a heating mechanism, used to heat the plurality of wipes positioned in the main compartment. Any suitable heating mechanism can be utilized as is known in the art. Further, the lower compartment comprises a top, a bottom, opposing sidewalls and opposing front and back walls. The main compartment and the lower compartment form the body component but are separated by a top of the lower compartment, which is the bottom of the main compartment. The top/bottom allows heat to pass, from the heating mechanism positioned in the lower compartment to warm the wipes positioned in the main compartment. In one embodiment, spacing the heating mechanism apart from the plurality of wipes, allows for gradual and indirect heating. This arrangement, along with the liquid in the main compartment, surprisingly and advantageously prolongs the moistening effect and usable life of the plurality of wipes. Further, the lid is adapted to seal the main compartment, so that warm vapor sourced from the heated liquid can be kept in the wipe-receiving area (i.e., inner area), as well.

In one embodiment, an energy source, such as batteries or an electrical charging port, or a car charging port are positioned in the lower compartment, along with the heating mechanism and controls. The energy source provides energy to the heating mechanism. Specifically, the heating mechanism receives energy from the energy source and converts that energy to heat which heats the device and wipes. The device also has a charging cord that can be connected to a wall outlet, car charging port, or other power source, to power the heating mechanism through the charging ports. Thus, the lower compartment comprises the heating mechanism and other electrical parts of the mechanism for operation of the heater. Therefore, the user can clean the main compartment and elements inside the compartment by water without danger of electrical shock or water damage to electrical parts, thereby improving product safety.
