DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

An embodiment of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. As illustrated in FIG. 1, according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, a kitchen toy (a model toy, a cooking toy) 1 imitating a kitchen will be described. The kitchen toy 1 is a toy with which meal time playing house can be played using a doll or the like. The kitchen toy 1 is formed in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape which is overall horizontally long and includes a main body 10 provided with two stoves (a first stove 11 and a second stove 12) on the upper surface. A door portion 14 is provided below the first stove 11. An oven 16 including a tray 15 stored inside the main body 10 to be drawable is provided below the second stove 12. Hereinafter, the door portion 14 side of the kitchen toy 1 is referred to as a front side, and the opposite side thereof is referred to as a rear side, the door portion 14 side when the kitchen toy 1 is viewed from the front side is referred to as a right side, and the oven 16 side when the kitchen toy 1 is viewed from the front side is referred to as a left side for description.

A pot model 20 imitating a shape of a stew pot is provided on the first stove 11. As illustrated in FIG. 2, the pot model 20 includes a substantially cylindrical container portion 22 that has an opening 220 opened upward, a substantially discoid rotational plate 40 that is provided inside the container portion 22, and a lid portion 24 which can be opened and closed upward. A switch portion (operation portion) 30 which imitates a shape of a stove switch and which can rotationally operate the rotational plate 40 is provided above the door portion 14 (in a frame-shaped portion 10c to be described below). A user playing with the kitchen toy 1 can rotate the rotational plate 40 to turn over both plate surfaces (a first plate surface and a second plate surface opposite to the first plate surface) of the rotational plate 40 by rotationally operating the switch portion 30.

In the kitchen toy 1, for example, the rotational plate 40 that has a decoration of a pre-cooking state on the front surface (the first plate surface) and a post-cooking state on the rear surface (the second plate surface) is provided inside the container portion 22. The lid portion 24 is opened in a state where the front surface of the rotational plate 40 is oriented upward. Thereafter, the lid portion 24 is closed and the switch portion 30 is rotationally operated, such that when the lid portion 24 is opened again, the rear surface (the side on which there is the decoration of the post-cooking state) of the rotational plate 40 is oriented upward. Accordingly, the user playing with the kitchen toy 1 feels as if the user cooked with the pot model 20. The kitchen toy 1 is a toy with which the user can imitate cooking and play as such. Hereinafter, a configuration of each member of the kitchen toy 1 will be described in detail.

As illustrated in FIG. 3, the main body 10 includes, and is integrally assembled by, an outer wall 10a that forms a lower surface and right and left side surfaces, a rear wall 10b that forms a rear surface, the frame-shaped portion 10c that is provided in a frame shape above the outer wall 10a and the rear wall 10b, and a top plate 10d that is provided above the frame-shaped portion 10c and forms the upper surface. In an inner left portion of the main body 10, a rising wall 10b1 extending from the rear wall 10b is provided so that the wall surface follows in the front and rear directions. On the rear edge of the top plate 10d, a screen 10f rising upward in a screen shape is provided. The main body 10 includes the container portion 22, the rotational plate 40, the lid portion 24, and a first rotational shaft (rotational shaft) 32. The first rotational shaft 32 is provided inside the frame-shaped portion 10c and is disposed to be rotatable around an axis thereof with the front and rear directions as an axial direction.

At the end of the first rotational shaft 32 on the front side, the above-described switch portion 30 is integrally provided. At the end of the first rotational shaft 32 on the rear side, a first rotational gear 34 is integrally provided. When the first rotational shaft 32 is rotationally operated by the switch portion 30, the first rotational gear 34 is rotated with the first rotational shaft 32. At a position on the rear side on the outer circumferential surface of the first rotational shaft 32, a first regulation protrusion (regulation protrusion) 32a protruding in a substantial plate shape is provided. In a substantially middle portion of the outer circumferential surface of the first rotational shaft 32, a first locking protrusion (locking protrusion) 32b protruding slightly in a protrusion shape is provided (also see FIG. 7). At a position close to the switch portion 30 on the outer circumferential surface of the first rotational shaft 32, a flange 32c is provided.

A right portion of the frame-shaped portion 10c is a substantially box-shaped portion 10c1 having a substantial box shape of which the upper side is opened, and a shaft support mechanism 18 that supports the first rotational shaft 32 rotatably is provided here. On the rear side of the box-shaped portion 10c1, a lower gear storing portion 18a that stores therein a lower portion of the first rotational gear 34 is provided. In a substantial middle portion of the rear end of the box-shaped portion 10c1 in the right and left directions, a first rear cut portion 18b cut in a substantial arc shape opened upward is provided. In a substantial middle of the front end of the box-shaped portion 10c1 on the right and left directions, a first front cut portion 10e cut in a substantial arc shape opened upward is provided. The shaft support mechanism 18 includes a first shaft fixing portion (shaft fixing portion) 18c and a first shaft regulation portion (shaft regulation portion) 18d. A configuration of the shaft support mechanism 18 will be described in detail below.

As illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 6, a front end side of the first rotational shaft 32, specifically, a portion between the switch portion 30 and the flange 32c of the first rotational shaft 32, is supported rotatably in the first front cut portion 10e. A rear end side of the first rotational shaft 32, specifically, a portion near the first rotational gear 34 in the first rotational shaft 32, is supported rotatably in the first rear cut portion 18b. When the switch portion 30 is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise in the state where the first rotational shaft 32 is supported in the first front cut portion 10e and the first rear cut portion 18b, the first rotational gear 34 connected to the switch portion 30 via the first rotational shaft 32 is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise.

As illustrated in FIG. 3, the container portion 22 of the above-described pot model 20 includes a substantially cylindrical inner case 22a and outer case 22b. The inner case 22a is integrated with the top plate 10d. The above-described rotational plate 40 is provided inside the inner case 22a. A gear opening portion 10d1 which is opened upward is provided between the screen 10f and the inner case 22a in the top plate 10d. In a state where the top plate 10d is disposed on the frame-shaped portion 10c, the first rotational shaft 32 is covered with the top plate 10d, the switch portion 30 is exposed to the front side of the main body 10, and an upper portion of the first rotational gear 34 is exposed upward from the gear opening portion 10d1.

A second rotational shaft (rotational shaft) 42 is integrally provided with the rotational plate 40 provided inside the inner case 22a. The second rotational shaft 42 is provided in a shape protruding along the plate surface of the rotational plate 40 from each of both the front and rear sides of the outer circumferential surface of the rotational plate 40 so that a center 40C of the rotational plate 40 is located on an axial line, and thus is disposed rotatably around an axis thereof with the front and rear directions as the axial direction. A second rotational gear 44 is integrally provided at an end of the second rotational shaft 42 on the rear side. The second rotational gear 44 has a smaller diameter than the first rotational gear 34. The rotational plate 40, the second rotational shaft 42, and the second rotational gear 44 are all configured to be rotated together.

On the front side of the second rotational gear 44, a second regulation protrusion (regulation protrusion) 42a protruding in a substantial block shape from the outer circumferential surface of the second rotational shaft 42 is provided in a form adjacent to the second rotational gear 44. A second locking protrusion (locking protrusion) 42b protruding more slightly on the outer surface of the protrusion side of the second regulation protrusion 42a is provided (see FIGS. 4, 5A, and 5B).

The inner case 22a includes a cylindrical inner pot portion 22al having a bottom. In the front upper portion of the inner pot portion 22al, a second front cut portion 22a2 cut in a substantial arc shape opened upward is provided. In the rear upper portion of the inner pot portion 22al, a second rear cut portion 22a3 cut in a substantial arc shape opened upward is provided.

As illustrated in FIGS. 4, 5A, and 5B, the front end of the second rotational shaft 42, specifically, a portion of the second rotational shaft 42 protruding from the front side of the rotational plate 40, is supported in the second front cut portion 22a2. The rear end of the second rotational shaft 42, a portion of the second rotational shaft 42 protruding from the rear side of the rotational plate 40, is supported in the second rear cut portion 22a3. When the second rotational gear 44 is rotated counterclockwise or clockwise in the state where the second rotational shaft 42 is supported in the second front cut portion 22a2 and the second rear cut portion 22a3, the rotational plate 40 connected to the second rotational gear 44 via the second rotational shaft 42 is rotated counterclockwise or clockwise.

As illustrated in FIGS. 3, 5A, and 5B, a second shaft regulation portion (shaft regulation portion) 22a4 and a second shaft fixing portion (shaft fixing portion) 22a5 are provided on the rear side of the inner pot portion 22al. The second shaft regulation portion 22a4 rises in a substantial wall shape and has an upper end that is at substantially the same height as that of a cut bottom of the second rear cut portion 22a3. The second shaft fixing portion 22a5 rises in a prismatic shape on the right side of the second shaft regulation portion 22a4 and has an upper end that has a claw shape and is bent at substantially right angles to the left. A portion that has a claw shape in the second shaft fixing portion 22a5 is provided at a position (an upper position) slightly higher than the upper end of the second shaft regulation portion 22a4. The second shaft regulation portion 22a4 and the second shaft fixing portion 22a5 are provided at positions overlapping with the second regulation protrusion 42a and the second locking protrusion 42b of the second rotational shaft 42 in the front and rear directions.

Here, as illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 10A to 10C, an inner surface 22S of the inner case 22a, that is, the inner surface 22S of the container portion 22, has a substantial hemispherical shape along a locus of the periphery of the rotational plate 40 obtained by rotating the rotational plate 40. In the inner case 22a, the inner surface 22S is provided to have a size so as to be close to the periphery of the rotational plate 40 during rotation thereof.

The outer case 22b includes a substantially cylindrical outer pot portion 22b1 further larger than the inner pot portion 22al. At a position on the upper side on the inner circumferential surface of the outer pot portion 22b1, a push-out portion 22b2 pushed to the inner side across the entire inner circumferential surface is provided. As illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 4, the size of the inner circumferential surface of the push-out portion 22b2 is slightly larger than the size of the outer circumferential surface of the rotational plate 40. In a state where the inner case 22a, the outer case 22b, and the second rotational shaft 42 are attached to each other, the rotational plate 40 is disposed slightly below the push-out portion 22b2. Therefore, the opening 220 and an inner portion 221 of the container portion 22 are partitioned by the rotational plate 40.

Knobs 22b3 are provided on upward right and left sides of the outer circumferential surface of the outer pot portion 22b1. A rectangular cylindrical upper gear storing portion 22b4 that is opened downward is provided on the rear side of the outer pot portion 22b1. The upper portion of the first rotational gear 34 and the second rotational gear 44 are stored in the upper gear storing portion 22b4. A pair of engagement holes 22b5 opened inward in the right and left directions are provided on both upper right and left sides of the upper gear storing portion 22b4.

The lid portion 24 has a substantially discoid shape covering the upper opening of the outer pot portion 22b1 (the container portion 22). In the substantial middle of the upper surface of the lid portion 24, a handle 24a rising upward is provided. A pair of engagement protrusions 24b protruding outward in the right and left directions and engaging each of the engagement holes 22b5 of the inner pot portion 22al are provided on the rear side of the lid portion 24. When each engagement protrusion 24b engages each engagement hole 22b5, the lid portion 24 that has the pair of engagement protrusions 24b as a rotational axis and the right and left directions as an axial direction can be rotated around the axis and can open and close the upper opening (the opening 220 of the pot model 20) of the container portion 22 (see FIGS. 1 and 2).

Next, an engagement mode of the first rotational gear 34 and the second rotational gear 44 and a rotational mode of the rotational plate 40 will be described with reference to FIGS. 4, 5A, and 5B. The first rotational shaft 32 and the second rotational shaft 42 are supported and each member included in the kitchen toy 1 is attached, and thus the first rotational gear 34 and the second rotational gear 44 mesh with each other so that the first rotational gear 34 is located on the lower side. Therefore, for example, when the switch portion 30 is rotated counterclockwise, the first rotational gear 34 is rotated counterclockwise, the second rotational gear 44 meshing with the first rotational gear 34 is rotated clockwise, and thus the rotational plate 40 is rotated clockwise.

Here, the second rotational gear 44 has a smaller diameter than the first rotational gear 34. Therefore, when the first rotational gear 34 is rotated, the second rotational gear 44 is rotated at a larger rotational angle than the first rotational gear 34. In the kitchen toy 1 according to the embodiment, when the first rotational gear 34 is rotated by 90 degrees, that is, when the switch portion 30 is rotated by 90 degrees, diameters and dimensions of the first rotational gear 34 and the second rotational gear 44 are adjusted so that the second rotational gear 44 and the rotational plate 40 are rotated by 180 degrees. Therefore, when the switch portion 30 is rotated by 90 degrees in a state where the first plate surface of the rotational plate 40 is oriented upward, the rotational plate 40 is turned over and the second plate surface opposite to the first plate surface of the rotational plate 40 faces the upper side.

Both plate surfaces (the first and second plate surfaces) of the rotational plate 40 can have different decorations. In the rotational plate 40 according to the embodiment, a front surface (the first plate surface) 40H has a decoration imitating a stew before boiling (before cooking) (hereinafter referred to as a “pre-cooking decoration”) (see FIG. 5A) and a rear surface (second plate surface) 40T has a decoration imitating a foamed stew after boiling (after cooking) (hereinafter referred to as a “post-cooking decoration”) (see FIG. 5B).

A state of the kitchen toy 1 can be switched, by rotationally operating the switch portion 30, between a state (hereinafter referred to as a “pre-cooking state (first state)”) where the rotational plate 40 partitions the inner portion 221 and the opening 220 of the container portion 22 while the front surface 40H having the pre-cooking decoration is oriented upward and a state (hereinafter referred to as a “post-cooking state (second state)”) where the rotational plate 40 partitions the inner portion 221 and the opening 220 of the container portion 22 while the rear surface 40T having the post-cooking decoration is oriented upward.

Next, a configuration of the shaft support mechanism 18 provided in the frame-shaped portion 10c and a shaft support mode of the first rotational shaft 32 in the shaft support mechanism will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 6 to 8 and FIGS. 10A to 10C. As illustrated in FIG. 6, the first shaft fixing portion 18c of the shaft support mechanism 18 is provided at a position overlapping with the first locking protrusion 32b of the first rotational shaft 32 in the front and rear directions in a form close to the left of the first rotational shaft 32. The first shaft fixing portion 18c rises upward in a prismatic shape and has an upper end which is a claw portion 18c1 having a claw shape and is bent rightward at substantially right angles. As illustrated in FIG. 7, the claw portion 18c1 of the first shaft fixing portion 18c is provided at a height overlapping with the upper portion of the first rotational shaft 32 in the upper and lower directions.

As illustrated in FIG. 6, the first shaft regulation portion 18d of the shaft support mechanism 18 is provided at a position overlapping with the first regulation protrusion 32a of the first rotational shaft 32 in the front and rear directions and is located below the first rotational shaft 32. The first shaft regulation portion 18d has a wall surface rising in a substantial wall shape oriented in the front and rear directions, and a cut surface 18d1 that is cut in a shape opened upward at the upper end and supports the first rotational shaft 32 is provided. As illustrated in FIG. 8, the cut surface 18d1 has a bottom surface which is a flat surface and has a right surface which is a curved shape along the outer circumferential surface of the first rotational shaft 32.

As illustrated in FIGS. 7 and 10A, in the pre-cooking state, the first locking protrusion 32b of the first rotational shaft 32 is locked in the claw portion 18c1 of the first shaft fixing portion 18c. Therefore, even when an impact or the like is applied to the kitchen toy 1, the first rotational shaft 32 is prevented from being rotated erroneously. When the switch portion 30 (the first rotational shaft 32) is rotationally operated clockwise from here, the first locking protrusion 32b escapes from the claw portion 18c1 (see FIG. 10B). When the first locking protrusion 32b escapes from the claw portion 18c1, resistance occurs. When the switch portion 30 is rotationally operated clockwise until the post-cooking state, the first locking protrusion 32b enters a state oriented upward (see FIG. 10C).

As illustrated in FIG. 8, in the pre-cooking state, the first regulation protrusion 32a of the first rotational shaft 32 interferes with the bottom surface of the cut surface 18d1 of the first shaft regulation portion 18d and counterclockwise rotation around the first rotational shaft 32 is regulated. Therefore, the switch portion 30 is prevented from being rotationally operated counterclockwise from the pre-cooking state. When the switch portion 30 is rotationally operated clockwise from here to the post-cooking state, the first regulation protrusion 32a is oriented upward.

Next, a shaft support mode of the second rotational shaft 42 in the second shaft regulation portion 22a4 and the second shaft fixing portion 22a5 provided on the rear side of the inner pot portion 22al will be described with reference to FIGS. 5A and 5B. As illustrated in FIG. 5A, in the pre-cooking state, the second locking protrusion 42b of the second rotational shaft 42 is locked in a portion with the claw shape in the second shaft fixing portion 22a5. When the switch portion 30 is rotationally operated clockwise from here and the second rotational shaft 42 is rotated counterclockwise, the second locking protrusion 42b escapes from the second shaft fixing portion 22a5. When the second locking protrusion 42b escapes from the second shaft fixing portion 22a5, resistance occurs.

As illustrated in FIG. 5A, in the pre-cooking state, the second regulation protrusion 42a of the second rotational shaft 42 interferes with the upper end surface of the second shaft regulation portion 22a4 to the right of the second rotational shaft 42 and clockwise rotation around the second rotational shaft 42 is regulated. Therefore, the second rotational shaft 42 is prevented from being rotationally operated clockwise from the pre-cooking state. As illustrated in FIG. 5B, even in the post-cooking state, the second regulation protrusion 42a of the second rotational shaft 42 interferes with the upper end surface of the second shaft regulation portion 22a4 to the left of the second rotational shaft 42 and counterclockwise rotation around the second rotational shaft 42 is regulated. Therefore, the second rotational shaft 42 is prevented from being rotated counterclockwise from the post-cooking state.

Next, an operation when the user plays with the kitchen toy 1 using a figure body imitating a shape of a cooking object will be described with reference to FIGS. 9A to 1° C. In the embodiment, a carrot piece (figure body) 50 imitating a shape of a carrot is exemplified as the figure body. The carrot piece 50 has a size which can be stored in the space of the inner portion 221 of the container portion 22 partitioned by the rotational plate 40 (see FIG. 10C).

When the user plays with the carrot piece 50, the user opens the lid portion 24 of the pot model 20, places the carrot piece 50 on the front surface 40H of the rotational plate 40 having the pre-cooking decoration inside the container portion 22 (a state illustrated in FIGS. 9A and 10A), and closes the lid portion 24. Accordingly, the user playing with the kitchen toy 1 can feel as if the user puts in the carrot as an ingredient into the container portion 22 of the pot model 20 imitating a stewing pot. When the switch portion 30 is rotated clockwise by, for example, 45 degrees from here, the rotational plate 40 is rotated counterclockwise by 90 degrees, and the rotational plate 40 is erected inside the container portion 22 as illustrated in FIGS. 9B and 10B.

When the rotational plate 40 is erected as such, a gap occurs between the rotational plate 40 and the container portion 22, and the carrot piece 50 placed on the rotational plate 40 is dropped through the gap to the inner portion 221 of the container portion 22. Thereafter, when the switch portion 30 is further rotated clockwise, the carrot piece 50 is pushed downward by the front surface 40H of the rotational plate 40 rotating counterclockwise inside the container portion 22 and the carrot piece 50 is moved to the inner portion 221 of the container portion 22.

When the switch portion 30 is rotated clockwise by 90 degrees from the pre-cooking state, the carrot piece 50 is moved to the bottom of the inner portion 221 of the container portion 22, the rear surface 40T of the rotational plate 40 having the post-cooking decoration is oriented upward, as illustrated in FIGS. 9C and 10C, and the carrot piece 50 is stored in the inner portion 221 of the container portion 22 partitioned by the rotational plate 40 to be hidden. By opening the lid portion 24 again here, the user playing with the kitchen toy 1 can feel as if the user finished a stew in which the input carrot is boiled.

As described above, in the kitchen toy 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the lid portion 24 of the pot model 20 is opened, the carrot piece 50 is placed on the front surface 40H of the rotational plate 40 having the pre-cooking decoration, the lid portion 24 is closed, and the switch portion 30 is rotationally operated clockwise by 90 degrees. Accordingly, the rotational plate 40 is turned over, the carrot piece 50 is hidden in the inner portion 221 of the container portion 22, and the rear surface 40T of the rotational plate 40 having the post-cooking decoration is exposed upward. Therefore, the user playing with the kitchen toy 1 can feel as if the user cooked using the carrot piece 50 by opening the lid portion 24 again, and thus can simply enjoy a pleasure imitating a change in a state before and after cooking.

According to the foregoing embodiment of the present disclosure, the model toy and the cooking toy according to the following aspects can be provided.

A model toy according to a first aspect includes: a main body; a container portion provided in the main body and having an opening that is opened upward; a rotational plate provided inside the container portion and including a first plate surface and a second plate surface opposite to the first plate surface; a rotational shaft configured to support the rotational plate in the container portion rotatably to allow the first plate surface and the second plate surface to be turned over; and an operation portion provided in the main body and configured to perform rotational operation. IN response to operation of the operation portion, the rotational plate is configured to be switched between a first state and a second state, the first state where an inner portion of the container portion and the opening are partitioned while the first plate surface is oriented upward, the second state where the inner portion of the container portion and the opening are partitioned while the second plate surface is oriented upward.

In such configuration, by rotationally operating the rotational shaft by the operation portion in the state where the first plate surface is oriented upward, the rotational plate can be turned over and the second plate surface opposite to the first plate surface can be oriented upward. For example, the first plate surface of the rotational plate has a decoration of the pre-cooking state and the second plate surface has a decoration of the post-cooking state. Accordingly, by turning over the rotational plate by the operation portion, the plate surface of the rotational plate oriented upward is switched from the pre-cooking state to the post-cooking state. Therefore, the user can simply enjoy a pleasure imitating a change in the state before and after cooking efficiently.

In the model toy according a second aspect, the rotational plate has a substantially discoid shape, and an inner surface of the container portion has a substantially hemispherical shape along a locus of a periphery of the rotational plate obtained by rotating the rotational plate.

In such configuration, the periphery of the rotational plate rotating inside the container portion can be close to the inner surface of the container portion. Therefore, it is possible to implement specific configurations of the container portion and the rotational plate in which the rotational plate partitions the inner portion and the opening of the container portion.

In the model toy according a third aspect, the rotational shaft includes a locking protrusion that protrudes from an outer circumferential surface of the rotational shaft, the locking protrusion being configured to be locked in a shaft fixing portion provided in the main body in the first state, and escape from the shaft fixing portion by the rotation shaft being rotated from the first state.

In such configuration, as the locking protrusion escapes from the shaft fixing portion when the rotational shaft is rotated from the first state, resistance occurs. Therefore, the user can feel as if the user turns on a switch when the operation portion is rotationally operated from the first state, and thus can simply enjoy a pleasure imitating a change in the state before and after cooking. By locking the locking protrusion in the shaft fixing portion in the first state, the rotational shaft can be prevented or inhibited from being attached to any other member at a rotational angle deviated from the first state, for example, in a manufacturing process for the model toy, and thus it is possible to reduce an attachment error.

In the model toy according a fourth aspect, the rotational shaft includes a regulation protrusion that protrudes from an outer circumferential surface of the rotational shaft, the regulation protrusion being configured to regulate rotation of the rotation shaft in one direction around an axis of the rotation shaft by interfering, in at least one of the first state and the second state, with a shaft regulation portion provided in the main body.

In such configuration, the regulation protrusion interferes with the shaft regulation portion, and thus it is possible to prevent the rotational shaft in the first state from being rotationally operated erroneously in a direction different from the rotational direction of the rotational shaft for switching to the second state and to prevent the rotational shaft in the second state from being rotationally operated erroneously in a direction different from the rotational direction of the rotational shaft for switching to the first state.

A cooking toy according to the first aspect includes: a main body; a container portion provided in the main body and having an opening that is opened upward; a rotational plate provided inside the container portion and including a first plate surface and a second plate surface opposite to the first plate surface; a rotational shaft configured to support the rotational plate in the container portion rotatably to allow the first plate surface and the second plate surface to be turned over; an operation portion provided in the main body and configured to perform rotational operation; and a figure body imitating a shape of a cooking object. In response to operation of operation portion, the rotational plate is configured to be switched between a first state and a second state, the first state where an inner portion of the container portion and the opening are partitioned while the first plate surface is oriented upward, the second state where the inner portion of the container portion and the opening are partitioned while the second plate surface is oriented upward. The figure body has a size to allow the figure body to be stored in a space of the inner portion of the container portion partitioned by the rotational plate.

In such configuration, by placing the figure body on the rotational plate in the first state and rotationally operating the rotational plate to turn over the rotational plate, the figure body is dropped through the gap between the rotating rotational plate and the container portion to the inner portion of the container portion and is pushed downward by the rotational plate, and thus the figure body is stored in a space of the inner portion of the container portion partitioned by the rotational plate in the second state. For example, the first plate surface of the rotational plate has the decoration of the pre-cooking state and the second plate surface has the decoration of the post-cooking state. Accordingly, the user can put in the figure body of a cooking object in the first state, and can feel as if the user cooked the figure body and finished the cooking in the second state, and thus can simply enjoy a pleasure imitating a change in the state before and after cooking efficiently.

Even when another figure body imitating a shape of a cooking object after cooking is stored in a space of the inner portion of the container portion partitioned by the rotational plate in the first state without using the foregoing figure body, another figure body appears on the rotational plate in the second state. Therefore, the user can feel as if the cooked figure body appeared, and thus can simply enjoy a pleasure imitating a change in the state before and after cooking.

When another figure body imitating a shape of a cooking object after cooking is used in addition to the foregoing figure body and the other figure body is stored in the space of the inner portion of the container portion partitioned by the rotational plate in the first state, the figure body before cooking appears on the rotational plate in the first state and the cooked other figure body appears on the rotational plate in the second state. Therefore, the user can enjoy a change of the figure body before and after cooking in addition to the change of the rotational plate before and after cooking.

The embodiment of the present disclosure has been described, but the present disclosure is not limited to the foregoing embodiment and can be modified into various forms without departing from the scope of the present disclosure. For example, in the foregoing embodiment, the carrot piece has been exemplified as a figure body, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. Any of various shape bodies imitating food can be used. In the foregoing embodiment, the configuration in which the kitchen toy includes the first and second rotational shafts and the first and second rotational gears mesh with each other has been exemplified. However, the kitchen toy may include one rotational shaft extending from the rotational plate, the gears may not mesh with each other, and a switch portion may be provided directly at an end of the rotational shaft. The kitchen toy may include three or more rotational shafts. The rotational plate is not limited to the substantially discoid shape. For example, a substantially prismatic plate shape may be used.
