Abstract
A modular booth including aluminum profiles making up a lower and upper zone, respectively, joined to each other through anchor parts with a corner arrangement made up of an outside part and an internal part interconnecting lower profiles to support internal profiles that make up the ground support. On the upper part support parts are located panels filled with insulation material.
Description


FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a modular booth, the clear purpose of which lies in allowing, based on its construction, the incorporation, protection and maintenance of different telecommunications equipment that, duly installed on its inside, can be checked. The modular booth itself having, according to its features, the ability of allowing a configuration of different longitudinal and width measurements due to the incorporation of the cover as a support element, the attachment structure thereof being made up of some parts, that when seen from the front, take on the form of an Omega-shape and that in turn have a height that increases from one end to the other, from which is obtained a slanted cover that can be implemented-with a peak by having the cover support parts face each other in the highest area. The invention is made of aluminum profiles or similar materials, which are joined to each other and installed with insulating panels, making up a partition. A lower and upper zone, manage to form a fully insulated booth that has an access door and, optionally, windows.



BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] There currently exist many booths which are configured as job site shops, offices, dressing rooms and first-aid stations, all of them having a standard structure that ranges from the configuration of a container to prefabricated elements with transportation connections in the upper part to facilitate their being lifted and subsequently lowered. Some of these booths are built on site or are pre-built by a specialized industry to then be constructed or complemented in the place where they are ultimately installed.


[0003] However, there is currently no modular booth that is capable of having different longitudinal and cross-sectional dimensions, without altering the general features of the construction parts used in the assembly of the known booths.



SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] This invention has its application in the industry engaged in the manufacture of modular construction, preferably job site booths, booths for maintenance of facilities, telecommunications booths and similar.


[0005] The modular booth of the present invention includes modular features that, when implemented as anchor and attachment connections, make it possible to build a booth that can vary in its longitudinal and cross-sectional dimensions, using, however, the same parts for its construction, over which only cutting has to be done in order to adapt these parts to the general dimensions requested for the booth.


[0006] More specifically, the modular booth that is the object of the invention is made up based on a frame intended to be incorporated in the lower part of the booth, which frame is implemented in a central zone with parts making up the floor or support of the booth, the parts of the corners having means to attach side parts, these attachment media being configured as quick attachment hooks and zones, in addition to quick assembly, the lower profiles having floor support means and its panels having sides and insulation aprons in an internal zone, as well as the pertinent means to include doors and windows.


[0007] In order to attach the roof, elongated parts are used, that as seen from the front, have the form of an Omega-shape, adopting a side configuration of a trapezoid that has a straight lower base, straight sides with differentiated height and an inclined upper most zone.


[0008] In summary, these parts have a body with an increasing height from an end with a lowest height to an opposite end with the greatest height.


[0009] As a consequence of the use of these parts to support the roof itself, the booth manages to have an inclined roof, that is, a sloping roof, which optionally may be implemented into a peaked roof by having the roof support beams face each other through the zone with the most height, after the proper cutting to delimit the appropriate dimensions of the booth on which they are incorporated.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0020] In FIG. 1, a modular booth (1) is shown formed from corner profiles (3) that are joined at a lower part by profiles (12) and at an upper part by profiles (13). In the upper part of the booth there is as a roof support (5) including elongated support parts (8) in the form of an Omega-shape, when seen from the front and that have an increasing height from one end of the roof to the other end of the roof.


[0021] The lower zone of the booth body, as shown in FIG. 1, includes a floor (14) that is mounted on tabs (12′) extending out from the internal zones of the profiles (12). The support tabs (12′) form an angle of 90° with respect to the profiles 12 to support the floor 14.


[0022] In FIG. 2 is observed the parts making up the roof (5), which are located above the support parts (8) that increase in height progressively and which are cut to size based on the length of the booth. Internally of the roof (5) is an insulating coating (6), which provides that the parts that make up the roof (5) are properly insulated on the inside.


[0023] To insulate the upper side of the booth (1) at the side of greatest height of the support parts (8), an insulating coating (6′) at the front of the roof with the most height of the support parts (8) is externally closed by a part (7) that, in an upper part has a curved configuration, covering the edge of the roof (5) and acting as a protector and flashing, as part (7) has an extension (9) that takes the form of an angle, close to a right angle, covering a lower zone of the flange or overhang of the roof (5), while a larger side covers the external zone of the coating and insulation part (6′) located vertically above the upper profile (13) that forms the structure together with the lower profile (12).


[0024] In FIG. 3, the panels or partitions (10) that are connected at the upper part with the profiles (13) have as a means of attachment in the lower part, the profiles (12) equipped with an internal projection (12′), where the parts (14) making up the ground support (17) are coupled. The ground support (17) is retained with the assistance of a perimeter angle (15) that, at the same time that it immobilizes the ground support (17), prevents the ground support (17) from moving and also has an application as a perimeter toe recess.


[0025] In FIG. 4 can be seen the support parts (8) of the roof (5), in the form of an omega-shape (Ω) and that as they extend laterally have an increasing height from the end with the lowest height to the other end. The support parts (8)are intended to be used as a direct support for the roof panels (5) and are cut according to the longitudinal dimensions of the desired ultimate booth size. There are incorporated a larger or smaller number of support parts (8) according to the desired width of the booth to be assembled.


[0026] In FIG. 5, it is observed how the profiles (12) and (13) are coupled together by attaching the panels (10) to the corner arrangements or vertical profiles (3), which have in their internal zone a double-angle plate (3′) configuration, managing to interconnect with the profiles (12), with the assistance of the coupling parts (16) that are introduced in a hollow zone of the profiles (12) at one end and on the inside of the vertical corner profiles (3) and the internal double angle plate (3′) at the opposite end. The upper profiles (13) are held between the vertical corner profile (3) and the double angle plate (3′), making up the corner arrangement, with the assistance of the bodies or elements (16′) similar to the coupling parts (16) but with a markedly lower height than the coupling parts.


[0027] It must be indicated that the upper profiles (13) have vertical extensions (13′), the function of which lies in delimiting the location and attaching the position of the insulating coating (6′) located over them.


[0028] In FIG. 6, it is observed how the support parts (8) are supported over the profiles (13), thereby assisting in the immobilization of the support parts (8) by the support parts (8) abutting vertical fin (13′) arising out of the upper zone of the profile (13). In addition, the hollow form of the profiles (13) accommodates receipt of the bodies or elements (16′), as is the case with the profile (12).


[0029] In FIG. 7, the profiles (14) are shown supporting the ground support (17) and placed on the projection (12′) arising out of the internal area of the profile (12). The profiles (14) are positioned with the assistance of the perimeter or angle profile (15), which in turn sets the position of the side panels (10) that make up the booth's walls. The side panels (10) have the peculiarity of being able to have a variable thickness based on the structural and use needs of the booth, from a maximum equal to the whole width defined by the profiles (12) or (13), where they are inserted, as can be seen in figures (3) and (5), up to a lowest thickness that is specified, by only introducing a complementary part (20) next to the panel (10) in the opening of the profiles (12) and (13) to immobilize the panels (10) in the profiles (12) and (13) and by the action of the perimeter profile (15), as can be seen in FIG. 7.


[0030] Finally, FIGS. 8 and 9 show in a plan view the location of the roof panels (5) over the support parts (8) and the location of the elements (14) making up the booth floor, over which will be placed the ground support (17) and subsequently the attachment of angle profiles (15).


[0031] In summary, it must be indicated that the invention, based on its construction capacity, supported by a series of profile parts, allow the assembly without limitation of tension, within some acceptable margins, achieving the configuration of the modular booth (1) with the assistance of a positionable door in the panels (10) and optionally of one or several windows, also placed in the panels (10).


[0032] It is not deemed necessary to make more extensive this description for one of ordinary skill in the art in this the matter to understand the scope of the invention and the advantages derived therefrom. The materials, form, size and arrangement of the elements will be capable of being varied, provided it does not involve an alteration to the essential nature of the invention. The terms used should always be taken in a broad and not limiting sense.


Claims
  • 1. A modular booth comprising: a floor, a plurality of sidewalls, a roof, a plurality of aluminum profiles located in a lower part, a plurality of aluminum profiles located in an upper part, a corner arrangement interconnecting said profiles at said lower part together and interconnecting said profiles of said upper part together, said corner arrangement including an inner member, an outer member and a plurality of coupling parts, the profiles at the lower part having a projection for supporting the floor located on an inside of the booth, the floor being anchored by profiles applied at a perimeter of edges of an intersection of the floor and the side walls of the booth.
  • 2. The modular booth according to claim 1, wherein the coupling parts used with the profiles at the lower part are of different height from the coupling parts used with the profiles at the upper part.
  • 3. The modular booth according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of roof support parts are located in the upper part to from part of the roof, the roof support parts having increasing height from one end to an opposite one, and a roof panel filled internally with insulating material is placed over the roof support parts.
  • 4. The modular booth according to claim 3, wherein the roof panel includes a curved cap with a vertical extension covering an upper side zone of the upper part at the end of the roof support parts with the greatest height.
  • 5. The modular booth according to claim 3, wherein the profiles at the upper part have vertical extensions, the roof support parts are engaged against the vertical extensions for immobilization of the roof support parts.
  • 6. The modular booth according to claim 4, wherein the roof support parts are of an Omega-shape.
