Claims
- 1. An optical amplifier assembly comprising a plurality of optical amplifier modules, each module being suitable for a specific intended use, providing at least one specific function, wherein at least one of said modules is marked with an identifying color according to its intended use.
- 2. An optical amplifier assembly comprising a plurality of optical amplifier modules, wherein at least one of said modules is colored, said color identifying its intended use.
- 3. An optical amplifier assembly comprising a plurality of optical amplifier modules, wherein each of said modules is marked with an identifying color according to its intended use.
- 4. An optical amplifier assembly comprising a plurality of optical amplifier modules, wherein at each of said modules is colored, said color identifying its intended use.
- 5. An optical amplifier assembly comprising a plurality of optical amplifier modules, wherein at least one of said modules includes a label containing information characterizing the module.
- 6. An optical amplifier assembly according to claim 5, wherein said label contains information indicating configuration of said module.

- 16. An optical amplifier assembly according to claim 16, wherein said electronic interrogator device is a computer.
