In use, the floor panels 12 are assembled in the aforementioned process to define the floor 16. Each of the anchors 82 is positioned in a respective recess 76 and each of the rods 78 is slid into the respective rod slots 66. Furthermore, the stakes 24 are inserted through respective stake holes 22 to secure the floor 16 to the support surface 18. The tent 20 is pitched on top of the floor 16 and the tie down lines 96 for the tent 20 are secured to the hook 84 on a respective one of the anchors 82. In this way the a bottom 100 of the tent 20 rests on top of the floor 16, rather than on the support surface 18, thereby inhibiting the bottom 100 of the tent 20 from being damaged by rocks and debris on the support surface 18. Additionally, the pad 98 on each of the floor panels 12 enhances comfort for lying in the tent 20 while sleeping.
