This application claims priority of Taiwanese Patent Application No. 109206951, filed on Jun. 3, 2020.
The disclosure relates to a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe, and more particularly to a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe including a thermoplastic polyurethane sheet connected to an inner sleeve thereof by a high-frequency welding method.
A conventional moisture-permeable waterproof shoe generally includes an upper having a sock-shape, a waterproof inner sleeve fixedly disposed in an inner part of the upper, and an outsole fixedly disposed on a bottom side of the upper. Waterproof strips are usually attached onto the waterproof inner sleeve at seaming edges to enhance waterproof effect. However, once the waterproof strips are improperly attached to the seaming edges at the bottom portion of the waterproof inner sleeve, it would directly affect the waterproof effect of the waterproof inner sleeve at the bottom portion thereof.
Therefore, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe that can alleviate at least one of the drawbacks of the prior art.
According to the present disclosure, a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe includes an upper unit, an inner sleeve unit, and an outsole unit. The upper unit defines an inner space having a top open end and a bottom closed end. The inner sleeve unit is fixedly disposed in the inner space, and includes a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve and a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) sheet. The moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve has an inner sleeve bottom surface and defines a wearing space having a top open end and a bottom closed end. The TPU sheet has a top surface fixedly connected to the inner sleeve bottom surface by a high-frequency welding method. The outsole unit is fixedly connected to an underside of the upper unit.
Other features and advantages of the present disclosure will become apparent in the following detailed description of the embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawings, of which:

The upper unit 10 defines an inner space 11 having a top open end and a bottom closed end. In this embodiment, the upper unit 10 is made by sewing a cut piece 12, and includes a toe stitched portion 13, a heel stitched portion 14, a sole stitched portion 15, and a rear end stitched portion 16. The toe stitched portion 13, the heel stitched portion 14, the sole stitched portion 15, and the rear end stitched portion 16 are formed by sewing threads. In this embodiment, the cut piece 12 is made of a woven fabric, but is not limited thereto.
The inner sleeve unit 20 is fixedly disposed in the inner space 11, and includes a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve 21, a waterproof element set 22 disposed on an outer surface of the moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve 21, and a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) sheet 23. The moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve 21 has an inner sleeve bottom surface 211, and defines a wearing space 27 having a top open end and a bottom closed end. The TPU sheet has a top surface 231 which is fixedly connected to the inner sleeve bottom surface 211 by a high-frequency welding method, and which completely covers and seals the inner sleeve bottom surface 211, as shown in
In this embodiment, the moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve 21 is made from a tailored sheet 24 that includes a lining cloth layer 241, a surface cloth layer 242 positioned on an outer side of the lining cloth layer 241, a foam layer 243 fixedly connected between the lining cloth layer 241 and the surface cloth layer 242, and a moisture-permeable waterproof layer 244 fixedly connected to an outer side of the surface cloth layer 242. The moisture-permeable waterproof layer 244 is made of polyurethane (PU), but is not limited thereto.

The front curved seaming edges 262 of the side wing portions 26 are sewn to the front convex edge 251, the lateral seaming edges 261 of the side wing portions 26 are sewn to each other, and the rear seaming edges 263 of the side wing portions 26 are sewn to each other, thereby forming the moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve 21. In this embodiment, the length of the front curved seaming edge 262 of each side wing portion 26 is substantially equal to one-half of the length of the front convex edge 251 of the main sheet portion 25.

Based on the above description, the advantages of the moisture-permeable waterproof shoe 100 of this disclosure can be summarized as follows:
1. By utilizing the high-frequency welding method to heat the hot-melt adhesive layer 230, the TPU sheet 23 can be fixedly connected to and completely covers and seals the inner sleeve bottom surface 211 of the moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve 21 and can seal the seam of the lateral seaming edges 261 of the side wing portions 26 located at the inner sleeve bottom surface 211, thereby permitting the moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve 21 to have a good waterproof effect. Further, in comparison with the prior art, there is no need to attach waterproof strips to the inner sleeve bottom surface 211 of the moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve 21, thereby effectively reducing the number of waterproof strips used.
2. Since the hot melt adhesive layer 230 can be used to strengthen the bonding between the TPU sheet 23 and the moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve 21, the sealing effect on the inner sleeve bottom surface 211 of the moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve 21 can be enhanced.
