Claims
- 1. A highly stable moisture sensitive film useful in the production of a moisture sensitive electrically resistive element sensitive to a change of moisture content in the atmosphere ranging from 0 to 100% relative humidity, said film comprising a mixture of a polymeric material having the formula:
- [--CH(C.sub.6 H.sub.4 SO.sub.3 X)--CH.sub.2 --].sub.n
- wherein X is any one of a hydrogen atom, metal atom, ammonium, urea, triethylenediamine, tetramethyleneguanidine and hexamethylenediamine; and n is greater than 50; and a hydrophilic polymer.
- 2. The moisture sensitive film of claim 1, wherein said hydrophilic polymer is selected from at least one member of the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohol, methyl cellulose and polyamide resin.
- 3. The moisture sensitive film of claim 1, which further includes a protective layer comprising a polymer having a high moisture permeability coated on said moisture sensitive film.
