Claims
- 1. A kit for screening for modulators of a motor protein, comprisinga protein, wherein said protein comprises an amino acid sequence having greater than 90% amino acid sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:2 as measured using a sequence comparison algorithm, wherein said protein has microtubule stimulated ATPase activity; and instructions for testing for activity of said protein.
- 2. The kit of claim 1, wherein the protein has greater than 95% amino acid sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:2 as measured using a sequence comparison algorithm.
- 3. The kit of claim 1, wherein the protein has greater than 98% amino acid sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:2 as measured using a sequence comparison algorithm.
- 4. The kit of claim 1, wherein the protein comprises an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2.
- 5. The kit of claim 1, further comprising reaction tubes.
- 6. The kit of claim 1, further comprising a stationary multiwell plate.
- 7. The kit of claim 6, wherein the stationary multiwell plate is a 384-well microtiter plate.
- 8. The kit of claim 1, further comprising an enzyme system for monitoring ADP or phosphate level.
- 9. The kit of claim 8, wherein the enzyme system comprises pyruvate kinase and lactate dehydrogenase.
- 10. The kit of claim 8, wherein the enzyme system comprises luciferin-luciferase system.
