Claims
- 1. A mounting bracket for an insulator assembly, comprising:
a base having a first end and a second end; a first leg having a first end attached to said first end of said base and having a second end; a second leg having a first end attached to said second end of said base and having a second end; a first foot extending from said second end of said first leg; and a second foot extending from said second end of said second leg.
- 2. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 1, wherein
said first leg extends at angle of approximately 30 degrees from said base.
- 3. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 1, wherein
said second leg extends at an angle of approximately 150 degrees from said base.
- 4. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 1, wherein
said first leg and said second leg are substantially parallel.
- 5. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 1, wherein
said base, said first leg, said second leg, said first foot and said second foot are integrally connected.
- 6. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 1, wherein
a first portion of said first foot and a second portion of said second foot are bent inwardly to engage a support to which the mounting bracket is secured.
- 7. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 1, wherein
said first foot and said second foot extend in opposite directions from said first and second legs, respectively.
- 8. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 1, wherein
each of said first foot and said second foot has a hole for receiving a fastener to secure said mounting bracket to a support.
- 9. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 1, wherein
said base has an opening for receiving a fastener to secure said mounting bracket to a switch assembly.
- 10. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly, comprising:
a base having a first end and a second end; a first leg having a first end integrally connected to said first end of said base and having a second end; a second leg having a first end integrally connected to said second end of said base and having a second end; a first support mounting foot integrally connected to and extending from said second end of said first leg; and a second support mounting foot integrally connected to and extending from said second end of said second leg in a direction away from said first foot.
- 11. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 10, wherein
said first leg extends at angle of approximately 30 degrees from said base.
- 12. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 10, wherein
said second leg extends at an angle of approximately 150 degrees from said base.
- 13. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 10, wherein
said first leg and said second leg are substantially parallel.
- 14. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 10, wherein
said first foot and said second foot each have a fastener hole for receiving a fastener to secure said mounting bracket to a support.
- 15. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 10, wherein
said base has a fastener hole for securing said mounting bracket to a switch assembly.
- 16. A mounting bracket for a switch assembly according to claim 1, wherein
a first portion of said first foot and a second portion of said second foot are bent inwardly to engage a support to which the mounting bracket is secured.
- 17. An insulator assembly, comprising:
a first base; a first switch assembly attached to said first base; a terminal pad having a first end attached to said first switch assembly and having a second end connected to a conductor; and a support mounting bracket attached to said first base and including
a second base having a first end and a second end; a first leg having a first end integrally connected to said first end of said second base and having a second end; a second leg having a first end integrally connected to said first end of said base and having a second end; a first support mounting foot integrally connected to and extending from said second end of said first leg; and a second support mounting foot integrally connected to and extending from said second end of said second leg in a direction away from said first foot.
- 18. An insulator assembly according to claim 17, wherein
said first leg extends at angle of approximately 30 degrees from said second base.
- 19. An insulator assembly according to claim 17, wherein
said second leg extends at an angle of approximately 150 degrees from said second base.
- 20. An insulator assembly according to claim 17, wherein
said first leg and said second leg are substantially parallel.
- 21. An insulator assembly according to claim 17, wherein
said first foot and said second foot each have a fastener hole for receiving a fastener to secure said mounting bracket to a support.
- 22. An insulator assembly according to claim 17, wherein
said second base has a fastener hole for securing said mounting bracket to said first base.
- 23. An insulator assembly according to claim 17, wherein
a first portion of said first foot and a second portion of said second foot are bent inwardly to engage a support to which the mounting bracket is secured.
- 24. An insulator assembly according to claim 17, wherein
a second switch assembly is attached to said first base.
- 25. An insulator assembly according to claim 24, wherein
a bypass switch assembly is attached to said first base.
