Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a basketball hoop device, and more particularly to a moveable basketball hoop device.

2. Description of Related Art

With reference to FIG. 7, a conventional basketball hoop device 70 has a backboard 71 and a rim 72. The backboard 71 is mounted on a wall or a door panel B. The backboard 71 is mounted on the door panel B by multiple bolts 73 as shown in FIG. 6. The rim 72 is mounted on a side of the backboard 71.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 4, a first preferred embodiment of a moveable basketball hoop device in accordance with the present invention has a mounting module 1, a backboard 30, and a rim 40.

The mounting module 1 is mounted on a side of a door panel D and has two base belts 10 and four fixing portions 20. The base belts 10 are elongated and are arranged at an interval. Each base belt 10 has a top end and a bottom end. The four fixing portions 20 are respectively mounted on the two top ends and the two bottom ends of the base belts 10, such that the mounting module 1 can be mounted on the side of the door panel D by the four fixing portions 20. Preferably, each fixing portion 20 may be a hook. The fixing portions 20 can be hooked on the door panel D, wherein two of the fixing potions 20 are hooked on a top of the door panel D, and the other two fixing portions 20 are hooked on a bottom of the door panel D.

Alternatively, the fixing portions 20 may be formed as buckles and are fastened on the door panel D.

The backboard 30 is moveably mounted on the base belts 10 of the mounting module 1, and has a body 31 and multiple fixing buckles 50. The fixing buckles 50 are mounted on a side of the body 31 at a position facing toward the door panel D. Preferably, the backboard 30 has four fixing buckles 50. Two of the fixing buckles 50 are inserted by one of the base belts 10, and the other two fixing buckles 50 are inserted by the other base belt 10.

Each fixing buckle 50 has a fixing plate 51, a fixing unit 52 and a buckle space 53. The fixing plate 51 is mounted on the side of the body 31. The fixing unit 52 is pivotally mounted on a side of the fixing plate 51 at a position opposite to the body 31. The buckle space 53 is formed between the fixing unit 52 and the fixing plate 51. The buckle space 53 is inserted by the corresponding base belt 10. The base belts 10 are respectively clamped tightly by the corresponding fixing unit 52 and the corresponding fixing plate 51, such that the backboard 30 can be fixed on the base belts 10.

Alternatively, the backboard 30 may have two fixing buckles 50, wherein the two fixing buckles 50 are mounted on a top portion of the body 31 and respectively clamp the base belts 10.

The rim 40 is mounted on the body 31 of the backboard 30 at a side opposite to the base belts 10.

In use, the base belts 10 are mounted on the side of the door panel D by the fixing portions 20, wherein the fixing portions 20 are respectively mounted on the top and the bottom of the door panel D. When a height of the backboard 30 needs to be adjusted, the fixing units 52 are pulled to disengage from the base belts 10. Then, the fixing units 52 are not pressed and do not abut against the base belts 10, and the heights of the fixing buckles 50 can be adjusted relative to the base belts 10. Therefore, a position of the backboard 30 can be adjusted relative to the base belts 10.

After the position of the backboard 30 is adjusted, the fixing units 52 are pushed to press the base belts 10 to abut against the fixing plate 51 tightly, such that the fixing plate 51 cannot be moved relative to the base belts 10. Therefore, the position of the moveable basketball hoop device relative to the door panel D can be adjusted according to the demand of a user.

With reference to FIG. 5, a mounting module 1A of a second preferred embodiment of the moveable basketball hoop device in accordance with the present invention has two fixing portions 20A. Each fixing portion 20A has a connecting plate 21A and a hook 22A. One of the connecting plates 21A of the fixing portions 20A is connected with the two top ends of the base belts 10, and the other connecting plate 21A is connected with the two bottom ends of the base belts 10. The hooks 22A are respectively mounted on the connecting plates 21A. The moveable basketball hoop device is mounted on the door panel D by the hooks 22A of the fixing portions 20A.

With reference to FIG. 6, a mounting module 1B of a third preferred embodiment of the moveable basketball hoop device in accordance with the present invention has two base belts 10B. Each base belt 10B is annular and mounted around the door panel D directly.

From the above description, it is noted that the present invention has the following advantages: the fixing buckles 50 can be moved relative to the base belts 10, such that the height of the rim 40 can be adjusted. For an adult, the rim 40 may be moved to a high position. For a child, the rim 40 may be moved to a low position. Therefore, the moveable basketball hoop device is applicable for users of different heights.

Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
