- 2. An apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising: a recording start button to start audio and moving picture recording; a recording button to start audio recording; and a shutter button to take a still picture.
- 3. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the recording/reproducing apparatus has such a size that easily fits in a breast pocket of a jacket.
- 4. An apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising:
a determining section which determines whether power supply is cut off during recording of the moving picture in the memory card; a supplying section supplying backup power to each section in the apparatus if the power supply is cut off; an addition section adding END information to an end of the recorded moving picture while the power is supplied from the supplying section; and a supply stop section stopping the backup power from the supply section, after adding the END information by the addition section.
- 5. An apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising: means for starting audio and moving picture recording; means for starting audio recording; and means for taking a still picture.
- 6. An apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising:
means for determining whether power supply is cut off during recording of the moving picture in the memory card; means for supplying backup power to each section in the apparatus if the power supply is cut off; means for adding END information to an end of the recorded moving picture while the power is supplied from the means for supplying backup power; and means for stopping the backup power from the supply means, after adding the END information by the means for adding END.
- 7. A moving picture recording/reproducing apparatus comprising:
a rotatable recording medium; a card slot receiving a removable and unrotatable recording medium; and a copying section which copies video data recorded in the rotatable recording medium to the unrotatable recording medium inserted in the card slot.
- 8. An apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the copying section converts format of data when the video data is copied.
- 9. An apparatus according to claim 7, further comprising:
a tuner which receives a broadcasted program picture and provides video data; a video encoder which compresses the video data provided by the tuner; and a simultaneous recording section which simultaneously records the video data compressed by the video encoder in the rotatable recording medium and the nonrotatable recording medium.
- 10. An apparatus according to claim 9, wherein the simultaneous recording section simultaneously records the video data in the rotatable recording medium and the nonrotatable recording medium at different bit rates.
- 11. An apparatus according to claim 9, further comprising an input section which inputs video data from an external apparatus, wherein the simultaneous recording section simultaneously records the video data obtained from the tuner and the input section in the rotatable recording medium and the nonrotatable recording medium respectively.
- 12. An apparatus according to claim 7, further comprising:
a determining section which determines, if the nonrotatable recording medium is inserted in the slot, whether a schedule file is recorded in the inserted recording medium; and a schedule setting section which sets schedule information contained in the schedule file in the apparatus if the determining section determines that the schedule file is recorded in the recoding medium, wherein
the copying section copies video data corresponding to the schedule information set by the schedule setting section from the rotatable recording medium to the unrotatable recording medium.
- 13. An apparatus according to claim 7, further comprising:
means for receiving a broadcasted program picture and providing video data; means for compressing the video data provided by the means for receiving; and means for simultaneously recording the video data compressed by the means for compressing in the rotatable recording medium and the nonrotatable recording medium.
- 14. An apparatus according to claim 13, wherein the means for simultaneously recording simultaneously records the video data in the rotatable recording medium and the nonrotatable recording medium at different bit rates.
- 15. An apparatus according to claim 13, further comprising means for inputting video data from an external apparatus, wherein the means for simultaneous recording simultaneously records the video data obtained from the means for receiving and the means for inputting in the rotatable recording medium and the nonrotatable recording medium respectively.
- 16. An apparatus according to claim 7, further comprising:
means for determining, if the nonrotatable recording medium is inserted in the slot, whether a schedule file is recorded in the inserted recording medium; and means for setting schedule information contained in the schedule file in the apparatus if the means for determining determines that the schedule file is recorded in the recoding medium, wherein
the copying section copies video data corresponding to the schedule information set by the means for setting from the rotatable recording medium to the unrotatable recording medium.
- 17. A schedule setting method in a moving picture recording/reproducing apparatus having a card slot to receive a rotatable recording medium and a removable and nonrotatable recording medium, comprising:
determining, if the nonrotatable recording medium is inserted in the slot, whether a schedule file is recorded in the inserted recording medium; setting, in the apparatus, schedule information contained in the schedule file, if the schedule file is recorded in the inserted recording medium; and copying video data corresponding to the schedule information from the rotatable recording medium to the nonrotatable recording medium.
