Claims
- 1. A method of managing display of information for a plurality of calls in a wireless communication device, comprising:
providing summary information for the plurality of calls; receiving an indication to view detailed information for a selected call; and providing the detailed information for the selected call.
- 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the summary information includes a call type and a status of each of the plurality of calls.
- 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the detailed information for the selected call includes a caller name, a call number, a connected name, a connected number, a call duration, or any combination thereof, for the selected call.
- 4. The method of claim 1, wherein the summary information and the detailed information are determined by user preference.
- 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the selected call is a data call and the detailed information is indicative of attributes for the data call.
- 6. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
receiving an indication to show detailed information for another selected call; and providing the detailed information for the new selected call.
- 7. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
receiving an indication to process a new call; and adding the new call to a list of in-progress calls if the new call is connected.
- 8. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
receiving an indication to disconnect an in-progress call; and updating a list of in-progress calls to remove the disconnected call.
- 9. The method of claim 8, further comprising:
providing an idle display if the updated list of in-progress calls is empty.
- 10. The method of claim 1, wherein the plurality of calls include at least one voice call and at least one data call.
- 11. The method of claim 1, wherein the summary information for the plurality of calls is presented such that information for each call is shown on one line of a display.
- 12. The method of claim 1, wherein the wireless communication device is a cellular phone.
- 13. A computer program product for managing display of information for a plurality of calls in a wireless communication device, comprising:
code for providing summary information for the plurality of calls; code for receiving an indication to view detailed information for a selected call; code for providing the detailed information for the selected call; and a computer-usable medium for storing the codes.
- 14. The computer program product of claim 13, further comprising:
code for receiving an indication to show detailed information for another selected call; and code for providing the detailed information for the new selected call.
- 15. The computer program product of claim 13, further comprising:
code for receiving an indication to process a new call; and code for adding the new call to a list of in-progress calls if the new call is connected.
- 16. The computer program product of claim 13, further comprising:
code for receiving an indication to disconnect an in-progress call; and code for updating a list of in-progress calls to remove the disconnected call.
- 17. The computer program product of claim 13, wherein the plurality of calls include at least one voice call and at least one data call.
- 18. An integrated circuit operative to manage display of information for a plurality of calls in a wireless communication device, comprising:
means for providing summary information for the plurality of calls; means for receiving an indication to view detailed information for a selected call; and means for providing the detailed information for the selected call.
- 19. A wireless communication device comprising:
means for providing summary information for a plurality of calls; means for receiving an indication to view detailed information for a selected call; means for providing the detailed information for the selected call; and means for showing the summary information for the plurality of calls and the detailed information for the selected call.
- 20. The device of claim 19, wherein the plurality of calls include at least one voice call and at least one data call.
- 21. The device of claim 19 and operative in a GSM, GPRS, W-CDMA, or CDMA system.
