The present invention relates to an improved fabric structure and, more particularly, to a novel fabric structure which include plural fabric layers knitted by yarns in different colors to create variable visible effects and enables a garment made thereof to promote esthetic effects.
Customer's requirements for the fabric structure of clothes are dramatically increasing. It is desirable that the fabric structure is breathable, effective in heat dissipation, sweat absorbent, comfortable, and lightweight. Consequently, a variety of weaving methods, fiber materials, and fiber arrangements for the fabric structure of garments were developed.
In order to meet customer's strong needs, one object of this invention is to provide a multi-color spacer fabric which include plural fabric layers knitted by yarns in different colors to create variable visible effects and enables a garment made thereof to promote esthetic effects.
Accordingly, one embodiment of the present invention provides a multi-color spacer fabric comprising a first fabric layer, a second fabric layer and a central fabric layer. The first and second fabric layers are both made of yarns. The central fabric layer is intertwined with the first fabric layer and the second fabric layer and formed of a plurality of wave-like fibers. The first fabric layer has a color different from the second fabric layer. The first fabric layer is arranged to have a relatively-dense region and a relatively-dilute region such the color of the second fabric layer is partially transparent through the central fabric layer and the portion of first fabric layer within the relatively-dilute region.
Another embodiment of the present invention provides a garment made of multi-color spacer fabric. The multi-color spacer fabric comprises a first fabric layer, a second fabric layer and a central fabric layer.
The structure and advantages of the present invention will be best understood by referring to the following detailed description of an illustrative embodiment in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
Referring to
Preferably, the outer fabric layer 12 can be knitted with a material selected from a group consisting of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), polyester, nylon, PU (polyurethane) or the like and any combination thereof. Furthermore, the central fabric layer 16 can be knitted with a monofilament fiber or a multifilament fiber made of a material selected from a group consisting of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), polyester, nylon, PU (polyurethane) or the like and any combination thereof. The inner fabric layer 14 can be substantially knitted with a material selected from a group consisting of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), polyester, nylon, PU (polyurethane) or the like and any combination thereof.
In one embodiment, the outer fabric layer 12 and the inner fabric layer 14 are knitted in a weft knitting method or a warp knitting method. Preferably, a circular knitting method, one kind of the weft knitting methods, can be employed to implement the novel fabric structure in accordance with the present invention. Further referring to
According to the present invention, at least one of the outer fabric layer 12 and the inner fabric layer 14 is provided with a dense region and a dilute region. In the embodiment as illustrated in
Moreover, in the embodiment as illustrated in
In addition, if the inner fabric layer 14 is dominantly knitted with PU or nylon fibers, it has stretchability and mild stickiness because of the characteristics of PU or nylon material. Accordingly, the PU-contained or nylon-contained inner fabric layer 14 features superior stretchability, superior resilience, mild stickiness and slip-proofness. Once the fabric structure 10 is employed to make a brasserie, the inner fabric layer 14 can be in close contact with the skin of a wearer and will stay where it is supposed to be without slipping; otherwise, the wearer is subject to the embarrassment of having the bra shifted in position.
An example of the fabric structure 10 to be used to make a brassiere is illustrated in
Although the present invention has been described in accordance with the embodiments shown, one of ordinary skill in the art will readily recognize that there could be variations to the embodiments and those variations would be within the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, many modifications may be made by one of ordinary skill in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
