TECHNICAL FIELD
This disclosure relates to implementations of multi-configuration pocket accessories.
BACKGROUND
Pocket accessories, such as pocket handkerchiefs and pocket squares, for suits and sport jackets are popular. However, arranging a pocket handkerchief into a design can be time consuming and can become undone. Furthermore, a pocket handkerchief can be slip too far down into a pocket.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Implementations of pocket accessories of the present disclosure include pre-formed material having first and second sides where the sides either have (1) different shapes and different patterns/colors (see, e.g., FIGS. 1A-1D and FIGS. 3A-3E); (2) different shapes and the same pattern/color (see, e.g., FIG. 2); or (3) the same shape and different patterns/color (see, e.g., FIG. FIG. 4). In this way, the pocket accessories can be worn in a plurality of configurations to achieve different looks. Furthermore, in some implementations, pocket accessories of the present disclosure further include a magnet to secure or position the pocket accessory within a pocket when used in conjunction with a separate magnet.
FIG. 1A illustrates an implementation of a multi-configuration pocket accessory 100 according to the present disclosure. The pocket accessory 100 comprises a first side 110 having a first pre-formed shape and first pattern and/or color and a second side 120 having a second pre-formed shape and second pattern and/or color. In some implementation, a pre-formed shape may be maintained with stitches. In some implementation, a pre-formed shape may include one or more creases or folds maintained by stitching.
FIG. 1B illustrates a first method of wearing the pocket accessory 100. In this first method, the second side 120 of the pocket accessory is inserted into a pocket to at least a depth to conceal the shape and pattern and/or color of the second side 120 while a portion of the first side 110 extends outside the pocket thereby revealing a portion of the first shape and first pattern and/or color of the first side 110.
FIG. 1C illustrates a second method of wearing the pocket accessory 100. In this second method, the first side 110 of the pocket accessory is inserted into a pocket to at least a depth to conceal the shape and pattern and/or color of the first side 110 while a portion of the second side 120 extends outside the pocket thereby revealing a portion of the second shape and second pattern and/or color of the second side 120.
In some implementations, the pocket accessory 100 further may include a magnet 130. In some implementations, the magnet 130 may be loosely secured within a bounded interior area 140 of the pocket accessory 100. In some implementations, the interior area may be bounded by stitching. In some implementations, the interior bounded area 140 may be configured such that the magnet may be moved horizontally and/or vertically. In some implementations, the magnet 130 may be used with a separate magnet 150 (see FIG. 1D) to position and secure the pocket accessory 100 within a pocket as discussed above. In this way the magnet 130 may be moved within the bounded area 140 to position and secure the pocket accessory within a pocket.
In some implementations, the magnet 150 may be enclosed with a material. In some implementations, the material may be the same material as a portion of the pocket accessory 100. In some implementations, the material may have the same pattern/color as the first side 110 or the second side 120 of the pocket accessory 100. In some implementations, the material may have a different pattern/color as the first side 110 or the second side 120 of the pocket accessory 100.
In some implementations, the magnet 130 may be fixedly secured within the pocket accessory. In some implementations, the magnet 130 may be secured to an outer surface of the pocket accessory.
FIG. 2 illustrates another implementation of a multi-configuration pocket accessory 200 according to the present disclosure. The pocket accessory 200 is similar to pocket accessory 100 except that the second side 220 of pocket accessory 200 has the same pattern and/or color as the first side 210 of pocket accessory 200. The pocket accessory 200 can be worn in the same methods as pocket accessory 100.
FIG. 3A illustrates another implementation of a multi-configuration pocket accessory 300 according to the present disclosure. The pocket accessory 300 comprises a first side 310 having a first pre-formed shape and first pattern and/or color and a second side 320 having a second pre-formed shape and second pattern and/or color. In some implementations, pocket accessory 300 is longer than pocket accessory 100. In some implementations, pocket accessory 300 is of sufficient length such that it can be folded so that the first side and second side are layered, as discussed below.
FIG. 3B illustrates a first method of wearing the pocket accessory 300. In this first method, the second side 320 of the pocket accessory 300 is inserted (or folded and then inserted) into a pocket to at least a depth to conceal the shape and pattern and/or color of the second side 320 while a portion of the first side 310 extends outside the pocket thereby revealing a portion of the first shape and first pattern and/or color of the first side 310.
FIG. 3C illustrates a second method of wearing the pocket accessory 300. In this second method, the second side 320 of the pocket accessory 300 is folded such that a portion of the second side is layered behind the first side 310 in a position where it can viewed when pocket accessory 300 is placed in a pocket. The folded end of the pocket accessory 300 then is inserted into a pocket to a depth where a portion of the first side 310 and second side 320 extends outside the pocket thereby revealing a portion of the first shape and first pattern and/or color of the first side 310 on top of second shape and second pattern and/or color of the second side 320. In some implementations, the first shape is configured such that portions of the second side 320 can be seen when the first side and second side are overlaid.
FIG. 3D illustrates a third method of wearing the pocket accessory 300. In this third method, the second side 320 of the pocket accessory 300 is folded such that a portion of the second side is layered in front of the first side 310. The folded end of the pocket accessory 300 then is inserted into a pocket to a depth where a portion of the first side 310 and second side 320 extends outside the pocket thereby revealing a portion of the first shape and first pattern and/or color of the first side 310 behind the second shape and second pattern and/or color of the second side 320.
FIG. 3E illustrates a fourth method of wearing the pocket accessory 300. In this fourth method, the first side 310 of the pocket accessory is inserted (or folded and then inserted) into a pocket to at least a depth to conceal the shape and pattern and/or color of the first side 310 while a portion of the second side 20 extends outside the pocket thereby revealing a portion of the second shape and second pattern and/or color of the second side 320.
Similarly to the pocket accessory 100, in some implementations, the pocket accessory 300 further may include a magnet 330 loosely secured within a bounded interior area 340 of the pocket accessory to position and secure the pocket accessory within a pocket. In some implementations, the bound interior area 340 may be larger than the bound interior area 140.
FIG. 4 illustrates another implementation of a multi-configuration pocket accessory 400 according to the present disclosure. The pocket accessory 400 is similar to pocket accessory 300 except that the second side 420 of pocket accessory 400 has the same shape as the first side 410 of pocket accessory 400. The pocket accessory 400 can be worn in the same method as the pocket accessory 300. Because the first side 410 and second side 42- of the pocket accessory 400 have the same shape, when the pocket accessory 400 is folded to layer the first side 410 and second side 420, the side that is in the back should be higher than the side that is in the front in order to be viewed when place in a pocket.
The shapes, patterns, and color combinations of implementations of the present disclosure can be any shapes, patterns, and/or color combination. The magnets 130, 150 can be any suitable shape or size. The strength of the magnets can be any suitable strength.
The pocket accessories of the present disclosure can be any article of manufacture. The pocket accessories can be manufactured from any material such as wool, silk, cotton, nylon, polyester, acrylic, or any other suitable material.
Reference throughout this specification to “an embodiment” or “implementation” or words of similar import means that a particular described feature, structure, or characteristic is included in at least one embodiment of the present invention. Thus, the phrase “in an embodiment” or a phrase of similar import in various places throughout this specification does not necessarily refer to the same embodiment.
