BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE

Games, puzzles, and associated assemblies have been known in the art for years. Popular game categories include puzzles and “mind-games” in which the player must strategize or think through various levels of challenges that are presented to solve a game template. The games can either be played alone or with others. In addition to enjoyment, the games develop valued attributes such as planning, critical thinking and strategic decision-making. However, these games often include only one or two games at most that can be played by the players, do not allow for creativity in creating new games from the same set of blocks and do not allow for customization of the game.

Through ingenuity and hard work, the inventor has developed a multi-face game which includes a plurality of surfaces and a plurality of indicia disposed on the plurality of surfaces so that each indicia corresponds to at least one or more predetermined games having one or more set of rules. When the plurality of blocks are placed in a predetermined configuration, at least one predetermined game is achieved. In addition, the one or more players have the opportunity to create new games not included in the predetermined games. In this way, the present invention allows for an infinity number of games that may be created by the players.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DISCLOSURE

While this present disclosure may be embodied in many forms, there is shown in the drawings and will herein be described in detail one or more embodiments, with the understanding that this disclosure is to be considered an exemplification of the principles of the present disclosure and is not intended to limit the disclosure to the illustrated embodiments.

Generally speaking, the present invention is directed to a multi-face game that includes a plurality of surfaces and a plurality of indicia disposed on the plurality of surfaces so that each indicia corresponds to at least one or more set of rules. In an embodiment, when the plurality of blocks are placed in a predetermined configuration, at least one of the set of rules is completed and, in addition, when the first set of rules is completed a first predetermined game is achieved. Furthermore, in an embodiment, the one or more players have the opportunity to create new games not included in the predetermined games. Thus, the present invention allows for an infinity number of games to be created by the one or more players from the same set of plurality of three-dimensional blocks.

FIG. 1 illustrates a multi-face game 10 having a plurality of three-dimensional blocks. In an embodiment, each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks includes a plurality of surfaces, the plurality of surfaces including at least a first surface, a second surface, a third surface, and a fourth surface. In an embodiment, when the plurality of three-dimensional blocks are placed in a predetermined configuration, a predetermined game is achieved. In an embodiment, as will be discussed in greater detail herein, a predetermined game is a game to be completed by one or more players according to a set of rules. In an embodiment, a first indicia is disposed on the first surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks, wherein the first indicia of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks corresponds with a first set of rules. In an embodiment, when the first set of rules is completed a first predetermined game 12 is achieved. In an embodiment, a second indicia is disposed on the second surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks, wherein the second indicia of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks corresponds with a second set of rules. In an embodiment, the second set of rules is different from the first set of rules. In certain embodiments, when the second set of rules is completed a second predetermined game 14 is achieved. In an embodiment, a third indicia is disposed on the third surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks, wherein the third indicia of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks corresponds with a third set of rules. In an embodiment, the third set of rules is different from the second set of rules. In certain embodiments, when the third set of rules is completed a third predetermined game 16 is achieved. In an embodiment, a fourth indicia is disposed on the fourth surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks, wherein the fourth indicia of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks corresponds with a fourth set of rules. In an embodiment, the fourth set of rules is different from the third set of rules. In certain embodiments, when the fourth set of rules is completed a fourth predetermined game 18 is achieved.

In an embodiment, as will be discussed in further detail below, when the plurality of blocks are placed in a predetermined configuration the first set of rules is completed, and when the first set of rules is completed the first predetermined game 12 is achieved. In an embodiment, the indicia disposed on the plurality of surfaces may include any icons, logos, pictures, signs, marks, symbols, figures, numbers, letters or words desired in order to achieve a preferred game. In some embodiments, the indicia disposed on the plurality of surfaces may include a mix of icons, logos, pictures, signs, marks, symbols, figures, numbers, letters or words. In certain embodiments, the plurality of surfaces and/or the indicia disposed on the plurality of surfaces may include any color desired or have no color. In one embodiment, the one or more players may color in the indicia disposed on the plurality of surfaces of the plurality of blocks. In yet another embodiment, the one or more players may create their own indicia by drawing the indicia on the plurality of surfaces of the plurality of blocks.

In certain embodiments, a fifth indicia may be disposed on the fifth surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks, wherein the fifth indicia of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks corresponds with a fifth set of rules. In certain embodiments, when the fifth set of rules is completed a fifth predetermined game 20 is achieved. In still other embodiments, a sixth indicia may be disposed on the sixth surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks, wherein the sixth indicia of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks corresponds with a sixth set of rules. In certain embodiments, when the sixth set of rules is complete a sixth predetermined game 22 is achieved. In an embodiment, the shape of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks may be generally square, rectangular, triangular, circular, ovular, elliptical or any other shape known in the art. In an embodiment, the plurality of three-dimensional blocks is a plurality of six-sided cubic blocks, as shown in FIG. 1.

In other embodiments, there may be any number of indicia disposed on any number of surfaces of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks. For example, as shown in FIGS. 2A-2B, in certain embodiments, the plurality of three-dimensional blocks 30 may include eight surfaces 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, 39. In an embodiment, at least one of the eight surfaces includes an indicia disposed thereon in which the indicia of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks 30 corresponds with at least one set of rules. In certain embodiments, a plurality of set of rules may differ from each other. Thus, in an embodiment, when the plurality of three-dimensional blocks 30 are placed in a predetermined configuration a set of rules is completed and therefore a predetermined game is achieved (see FIGS. 2B and 2C). In another example, as shown in FIGS. 3A-3B, the plurality of three-dimensional blocks 40 may include seven surfaces 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47. In an embodiment, at least one of the seven surfaces includes an indicia disposed thereon, in which the indicia of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks 40 corresponds with at least one set of rules. In certain embodiments, a plurality of set of rules may differ from each other. Thus, in an embodiment, when the plurality of three-dimensional blocks 40 are placed in a predetermined configuration, a set of rules is completed and therefore a predetermined game 50 is achieved.

In an embodiment, the multi-face game 10 may include a game card 60 providing a number of predetermined games to be achieved by the one or more players with the plurality of three-dimensional blocks (see FIG. 4). In an embodiment, the predetermined games may include, but are not limited to, utilizing the plurality of blocks to complete a puzzle, to complete a quote or set of words, to create words with the letters provided on the plurality of blocks, to match similar sets of indicia provided on the plurality of blocks, to create stories with the indicia provided on the plurality of blocks, to build the blocks on top of each other, among many other games which may be provided. As shown in FIG. 4, the game card 60 may also include a game template called “Share It” in which the one or more players are invited to create their own games not included in the predetermined games of the game card 60 and share the games on different social media platforms. In this way, the present invention allows for an infinity number of games that may be created by the one or more players using the plurality of three-dimensional blocks.

In an embodiment, the first indicia disposed on the first surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks may include a portion of a two-dimensional image. In certain embodiments, the first set of rules may correspond to completing the image. Thus, in an embodiment, the first predetermined game 12 may be to complete an image by correctly placing the three-dimensional blocks in a predetermined configuration (see FIGS. 1 and 10). In some embodiments, the puzzle may be created and manufactured based on a customer's preference. In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 10, the puzzle may be a standard 5 blocks wide by 4 blocks tall. In other embodiments, the puzzle may include as many three-dimensional blocks as preferred. In certain embodiments, different surfaces of the plurality of surfaces of the three-dimensional blocks may be stacked on top of each other to create the said puzzle. In yet another embodiment, the one or more players may color in the indicia disposed on the plurality of surfaces of the first predetermined game 12.

In an embodiment, the second indicia disposed on the second surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks may include a portion of a set of words, and the second set of rules may correspond to completing the set of words. Thus, in an embodiment, the second predetermined game 14a may include placing the blocks in a predetermined configuration that will reveal a message, quote, or a sentence (see FIG. 5A). In an embodiment, the message, quote, or sentence may be customizable. Furthermore, in an embodiment, a second set of rules, and thus a second predetermined game may be achieved automatically when another set of rules, that is separate and different from the second set of rules, is completed by the one or more players. For example, in an embodiment, the first and the second predetermined games 12, 14 may be completed at the same time. In some embodiments, once the one or more players complete the first predetermined game 12, the one or more players may then flip, move, or turnaround the plurality of blocks to uncover the message, quote, or sentence of the second predetermined game 14a. In an embodiment, the packaging box 14b in which the multi-face game is presented in may be clear on one side, as shown in FIG. 5B, so that once the puzzle of the first predetermined game 12, or any other predetermined games, is completed, the one or more players may then flip the box 14b to reveal the message of the second predetermined game. In still other embodiments, several different sets of the multi-face games may be combined to complete one of the predetermined games, for example, the puzzle, and thus several sets of the multi-face games may be combined to reveal the hidden message.

In an embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B, the third indicia disposed on the third surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks may include a letter 65. In an embodiment, the third predetermined game may include creating words 74 with a plurality of the said letters. In certain embodiments, the at least one or more players may randomly draw or choose a number of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks 72 each having letters disposed thereon and the third predetermined game 70 may include creating words 74 with the letters on the plurality of three-dimensional blocks 72. Thus, in an embodiment, one of the predetermined games may be Scrabble™, Boggle™ or any other games in which a variety of letters are used to create words. In certain embodiments, the letters may be customizable to include any language and create words using any language, thus allowing the predetermined game to improve foreign language skills.

In some embodiments, one or more other indicia, besides the third indicia, which includes letters on the one or more other surfaces of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks may be used to create words 74 for the third predetermined game. In yet another embodiment, one or more other indicia that includes numbers on the one or more other surfaces of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks may be used to create words 74 by matching the number to a letter in the alphabet (see FIG. 9D). For example, a number 1 indicia on a surface of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks may correspond to the letter A and a player may place down the number 1 to create a word in order to achieve the third predetermined game.

In an embodiment, as shown in FIG. 7, the fourth indicia disposed on the fourth surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks may include a logo, illustration, image or icon. In an embodiment, the fourth set of rules, and thus the fourth predetermined game 80, may include matching a pair or a set of the same icons. In certain embodiments, the logo, illustration, image or icon may be customizable based on a customer's preferences. In yet another embodiment, the fifth indicia disposed on the fifth surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks may include a logo, illustration, image, letter, word, icon, among others. In an embodiment, the fifth set of rules, and thus the fifth predetermined game, may be to use the indicia to create a story. For example, a first player may grab one of the indicia from the plurality of indicia to start a story inspired by one of the logos, illustrations, images, letters, words or icons. The next player may then grab another block having an icon on the surface of the block and repeat the story told by the first player, by having memorized the first story, and then adding to the story based on the icon the second player chose or randomly selected. The next player may then continue the same set of rules until all the blocks are used or until a player incorrectly recites the previous stories. In yet another embodiment, as shown in FIG. 8, the plurality of three-dimensional blocks may be used to be stacked on top of each other. Thus, in an embodiment, a predetermined game may include stacking the plurality of blocks on top of each other until the structure falls.

In an embodiment, at least one or more surfaces of the plurality of surfaces may not include an indicia ascribed thereon. In certain embodiments, one or more users may write on at least one or more surfaces of the plurality of blocks having no indicia ascribed thereon. Thus, for example, one or more users may write on at least one or more surfaces of the plurality of surfaces of the multi-game face so that the multi-face game acts as a wedding or funeral guest book, wherein the guests sign at least one or more surfaces of the multi-face game.

In an embodiment, a sixth indicia disposed on the sixth surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks may include a letter and a number, and the sixth predetermined game may consist of sequencing the letter and/or numbers using a logical pattern (see FIGS. 9A-9D). In an embodiment, as shown in FIG. 9A, the sixth indicia 90 may include displaying the numbers and letters divided by a diagonal line. In an embodiment, a sixth set of rules may include each of the one or more players staring with at least four of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks. In an embodiment, the predetermined game may include sequencing the letter and/or numbers using a logical pattern in order to be the first player to discard of all the plurality of the blocks in the player's possession. In an embodiment, the sixth set of rules may further include positioning one of the plurality of blocks in a consecutive pattern either based on the letter on the block or the number on the block. For example, as shown in FIG. 9B, if the first of the plurality of blocks displays a number 18 the next player may place a number 17 block or a number 19 block to create a consecutive pattern of numbers. However, in some embodiments, depending on which side of the block is placed contiguously, it may lead to blocking the next player from placing down a next number, for example number 21 in FIG. 9C, because doing so would make the letter D of the adjacent block out of sequence i.e., it would imply that the letter D comes before or after the number 21. In another embodiment, the one or more players may use a combination of letters and numbers to achieve the sixth predetermined game (see FIG. 9D).

In an embodiment, a fifth surface of the plurality of surfaces does not include an indicia ascribed thereon. In other embodiments, as discussed above, any of the indicia disposed on any of the surfaces of each of the three-dimensional blocks may further correspond to at least one or more of the other predetermined games. In some embodiments, each of the plurality of three-dimensional blocks includes eight surfaces. In an embodiment, a predetermined game may utilize two or more different puzzle piece block shapes. In an embodiment, the plurality of three-dimensional blocks is made of wood. In other embodiments, the plurality of three-dimensional blocks may be made of any other material desired, including metal, paper, plastic, among others. In some embodiments, the at least one or more indicia may be engraved onto the blocks using a laser.

In an embodiment, a multi-face game 10 is provided to improve cognitive skills. In an embodiment, the game comprises a plurality of three-dimensional cubes, each of the plurality of three-dimensional cubes including a first surface, a second surface, a third surface, and a fourth surface. In some embodiments, a first indicia is disposed on the first surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional cubes, the first indicia of each of the plurality of three-dimensional cubes corresponds with a first set of rules. In an embodiment, when the first set of rules is completed a first predetermined game 12 is achieved. In an embodiment, a second indicia is disposed on the second surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional cubes, the second indicia of each of the plurality of three-dimensional cubes corresponds with a second set of rules. In an embodiment, the second set of rules is different from the first set of rules. In certain embodiments, when the second set of rules is completed a second predetermined game 14 is achieved. In an embodiment, a third indicia is disposed on the third surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional cubes, the third indicia of each of the plurality of three-dimensional cubes corresponds with a third set of rules. In an embodiment, the third set of rules is different from the second set of rules. In certain embodiments, when the third set of rules is completed a third predetermined game 16 is achieved. In an embodiment, a fourth indicia is disposed on the fourth surface of each of the plurality of three-dimensional cubes, the fourth indicia of each of the plurality of three-dimensional cubes corresponds with a fourth set of rules. In an embodiment, the fourth set of rules is different from the third set of rules. In certain embodiments, when the fourth set of rules is completed a fourth predetermined game 18 is achieved. In some embodiments, when the plurality of three-dimensional cubes are placed in a predetermined configuration the first set of rules is completed, and when the first set of rules is completed a first predetermined game is achieved.
