1. Field of Invention
The present invention relates to the field of articles for daily use, and more particularly to a multi-functional activated-carbon antibacterial and mite-proof mattress.
2. Related Art
Currently, with the improvement of the living conditions, people have an increasingly higher demand for the mattress, which already develops into a stage of pursuing individualization and diversity. The mattress is designed to make people feel more comfortable and healthy sleeping in bed for one third of the human life. Chinese Patent No. ZL03226488.7, entitled “Natural Activated-Carbon Coconut-Fiber Mattress”, discloses a coconut-fiber mattress protective layer formed by compressing activated carbon and load, which is not only moisture-proof and mold-resistant, but also antibacterial and deodorizing, so as to be good for health and enhance sleep quality. Chinese Patent No. ZL200410077316.7, entitled “Life-saving and Multi-functional Activated Carbon Palm Fiber Mattress”, discloses an air-permeable, moisture-proof, antibacterial, deodorizing, comfortable, and high-grade mattress that has a greater and more durable buoyancy and can be used in special environments as relief supplies for disaster areas, in which the mattress is made of specially processed palm fiber material and formed of two palm fiber layers sandwiching an enhanced polyethylene (EPE) composite material layer having a specific gravity smaller than 1, and air holes and channels filled with activated carbon are prefabricated in the EPE composite material layer. In the above two patents, the activated carbon is adhered to non-woven fabric and integrally wrapped by the fabric, so it is difficult to replace the activated carbon when the activated carbon becomes ineffective, and the mattress is not equipped with a frame therein for fixing and supporting the mattress to avoid deformation.
The present invention is applied to integrate the advantages of the multi-functional activated-carbon palm fiber mattress, and particularly make further improvements to the structure and performance of the life-saving palm fiber mattress, so as to facilitate the replacement of the activated carbon and further enhance the stability and the life-saving function of the mattress.
According to the technical solution of the present invention, a multi-functional activated-carbon antibacterial and mite-proof mattress is provided, which is formed of a mattress core wrapped with an outer packaging layer. The mattress core is formed of prefabricated high-density environmental-protection buffering material layers integrally sandwiching an activated carbon air-micro-circulation purification device. The activated carbon air-micro-circulation purification device is opened with prefabricated air holes, and laid with a safety and stiff frame therein.
The activated carbon air-micro-circulation purification device is formed of an ultra-thick EPE composite material layer having a specific gravity smaller than 1 and embedded with activated carbon air purifiers.
The activated carbon air purifier may be designed into a column shape or other shapes having covers at two ends, in which air holes are opened on each cover.
The activated carbon air purifier is filled with high-grade coconut-shell activated carbon.
The activated carbon air purifiers are detachably installed in the ultra-thick EPE composite material layer, so that it is convenient for a user to replace the activated carbon.
The safety and stiff frame laid in the activated carbon air-micro-circulation purification device has a grid form, and is made of light metal such as aluminum alloy.
The high-density environmental-protection buffering material layer is made of high-density EPE composite material, including high-density EPE composite material having a density smaller than 1, and is water-proof.
The outer packaging layer of the mattress is formed by a combining antibacterial mite-proof fabric, a flexible material layer, and an auxiliary material layer. The flexible material layer is made of individualized and optional functional material, which can be any material that is flexible and comfortable to sleep on, including sponge, spray-bonded cotton, and latex cotton. The auxiliary material layer is also made of individualized and optional auxiliary material, including textile material and non-woven fabric.
The present invention has the following beneficial effects. A more healthy and environmental-protection mattress is provided. The mattress is equipped with an activated carbon air-micro-circulation purification device, thus achieving the advantages of being antibacterial and mite-proof, moisture-proof, deodorizing and moisture proof, clean and air-permeable, soft hard double purpose, and flat and comfortable. Besides, it is very convenient for the user to replace the activated carbon according to requirements, thereby further enhancing the health effect of the mattress. Meanwhile, the activated carbon air purifiers also function as struts of the mattress, so as to enhance the compression resistance of the mattress core and make the mattress durable and nondeformable. The mattress, serving as a relief supply, can float like a skiff, and is inflation free, anti-puncture, and anti-collision. Moreover, the mattress is laid with a light safety and stiff frame to prevent the mattress from being deformed or bent, so as to further ensure the safety of the mattress during use for life-saving purpose. Therefore, the present invention provides a highly effective antibacterial, mite-proof, moisture-proof, deodorizing, air-permeable, and comfortable high-grade mattress having a reliable life-saving function.

The light metal frame is laid in the EPE composite material layer, so as to enhance the overall stiffness and make the life-saving function of the mattress more safe and reliable. The activated carbon air purifiers disposed in the EPE composite material layer can not only enhance the antibacterial, moisture-proof, and deodorizing functions of the mattress, but also serve as struts of the mattress, thereby greatly improving the compression resistance of the mattress core and making the mattress durable and nondeformable. The mattress is made of the antibacterial mite-proof fabric, so that the use of the mattress is safer, more salutary, and better satisfies the users' demands.
In the mattress in this embodiment, a safety and stiff frame 6 made of aluminum alloy may be designed into a grid form and laid in ultra-thick EPE composite material of an activated carbon air-micro-circulation purification device 5. The EPE composite material is water-proof and has a density smaller than 1 and a thickness approximately between 5 cm and 20 cm. The activated carbon air purifiers may be designed into a column shape and serve as struts of the mattress, thereby greatly improving the compression resistance of the mattress core, and making the mattress durable and nondeformable. An outer packaging layer of the mattress is formed by combining antibacterial mite-proof fabric, a flexible material layer, and an auxiliary material layer. The flexible material layer is made of individualized and optional functional material, which can be any material that is flexible and comfortable to sleep on, including sponge, spray-bonded cotton, and latex cotton. The auxiliary material layer is also made of an individualized and optional auxiliary material, including textile material and non-woven fabric. The specific implementation of this embodiment is the same as First Embodiment, and the details thereof may not be described herein again.
The specification of a test sample in this embodiment is as follows: 1900 MM in length, 1500 MM in width, and 180 MM in thickness. The test is carried out at a terrace of a building with an area of 330 m2. The depth of water is 300 MM. The test sample is soaked in water for six months, and the water temperature is in a range between 4° C. and 35° C. The manned buoyancy test is carried out in three stages in deep water of 300 MM with three people about 200 kg heavy standing on the sample, and the density of the EPE buoyancy material is 28 kg/m3.
The sample is soaked in water and placed outdoors for six months with a load of about 400 kg, the draft depth of the sample is 165 MM, and a bearing safety standard is set to 500 kg/m3. After being exposed to the wind, rain, and sun for a long time, when being examined, the sample is found to be almost the same as before except that the mattress body is slightly softer than its initial state before being soaked in water, so that the sample still maintains the major lifesaving function. With high-impact, puncture, and tension tests, the material is proven to be ideal material for manufacturing the lifesaving mattress.
The mattress product of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, particularly the dimensions of the product. Any product using the technical solutions of the present invention shall fall within the protection scope of the claims of the present invention.
