The present disclosure generally relates to blankets, and more particularly to a multi-functional wearable blanket poncho.
Travelers, sports enthusiasts, and those seeking warmth and comfort often face challenges when dealing with traditional blankets or ponchos. Traditional blankets can be cumbersome to carry, especially when one's luggage space is limited, and ponchos may not provide the desired warmth.
Embodiments of the present disclosure may provide a multi-functional wearable blanket poncho comprising: a blanket formed in a square of a cotton fleece material; and a two-headed opening zipper securely attached at a center of the blanket, wherein the zipper may be unzipped to open the two-headed opening from one side of the blanket to an opposite side and draped over a user's shoulders and then rezipped to convert the blanket to a poncho. The square may have dimensions of 60 inches×60 inches. The blanket may be further formed of a polyethylene fabric combined with the cotton fleece material to form a waterproof polyurethane laminate (PUL) backing. The two-headed opening zipper may be 20 inches.
Another embodiment of the present disclosure may provide a multi-functional wearable blanket poncho comprising: a blanket formed in a square of a cotton fleece material; and a two-headed opening fastener securely attached at a center of the blanket, wherein the fastener may be unfastened to open the two-headed opening from one side of the blanket to an opposite side and draped over a user's shoulders and then refastened to convert the blanket to a poncho. The fastener may be a zipper. The two-headed opening fastener may be 20 inches. The square may have dimensions of 60 inches×60 inches. The blanket may be further formed of a polyethylene fabric combined with the cotton fleece material to form a waterproof polyurethane laminate (PUL) backing.
Other embodiments of the present disclosure may provide a multi-functional wearable blanket poncho comprising: a blanket formed in a square of a cotton fleece material and a polyethylene fabric combined with the cotton fleece material to form a waterproof polyurethane laminate (PUL) backing; and a two-headed opening zipper securely attached at a center of the blanket, wherein the zipper may be unzipped to open the two-headed opening from one side of the blanket to an opposite side and draped over a user's shoulders and then rezipped to convert the blanket to a poncho. The square may have dimensions of 60 inches×60 inches. The two-headed opening zipper may be 20 inches. The multi-functional wearable blanket poncho may be unisex. The multi-functional wearable blanket poncho may be foldable and storable. The zipper may be a reversible zipper.

Embodiments of the present disclosure may provide a multi-functional wearable blanket poncho that may have dimensions of 60×60 inches with a two-headed center-opening zipper that may transform the blanket into a poncho. This may offer the convenience of both a blanket and a poncho in a single product. The blanket poncho according to embodiments of the present disclosure can be worn in two directions. It may allow users to stay warm and comfortable during travel or outdoor activities. The blanket poncho may be formed of one or more materials including, but not limited to, fleece and polyurethane laminate (PUL) fabrics, that may make the blanket poncho both warm and warm-resistant. The blanket poncho may include a 20-inch two-headed center-opening zipper, which may serve as the point of conversion from a blanket to a poncho and vice versa.
The blanket poncho according to embodiments of the present disclosure may be formed of a square-shaped blanket measuring approximately 60 inches by 60 inches. This substantial size may allow for comprehensive coverage, ensuring that a user may stay warm and cozy. While certain dimensions are identified herein, it should be appreciated that the blanket poncho may be larger or smaller in size without departing from the present disclosure.
The blanket poncho may include a 20-inch two-headed center-opening zipper. This zipper may be sewn or other otherwise securely attached at a center of the blanket. The zipper may provide a means for transforming the blanket into a functional poncho, making it suitable for a wide range of scenarios and preferences. While the blanket poncho is described as using a zipper, other fastening mechanisms may be used without departing from the present disclosure. Further, while the blanket poncho is described as having a 20-inch opening, it should be appreciated that the opening may be larger or smaller without departing from the present disclosure. This zipper may ensure that the blanket poncho may be worn/used in two directions depending on the user's needs and preferences.
The blanket poncho according to embodiments of the present disclosure may be formed of one or more materials. A primary material used in construction of the blanket poncho may be cotton fleece. Cotton fleece is soft and insulating and may ensure that the blanket poncho provides warmth and comfort. This may make the blanket poncho useful for users exposed to cold environments. The cotton fleece is both breathable and thermal, which may contribute to maintaining a comfortable body temperature for the user. While cotton fleece is described as being used to form the blanket poncho according to embodiments of the present disclosure, it should be appreciated that other similar insulating materials may be used without departing from the present disclosure.
Not only does the blanket poncho according to embodiments of the present disclosure provide warmth, it also may provide water resistance. The cotton fleece material may be combined with polyethylene fabric to create a waterproof polyurethane laminate (PUL) backing. The PUL backing may repel water and keep the user dry during outdoor activities in wet conditions including, but not limited to, sporting events in the rain or sudden downpours while traveling. Combining the fleece and PUL materials may enhance the utility of the blanket poncho. While the cotton fleece may provide a soft and warm interior, including PUL fabric may add a waterproof element. Combining the materials may contribute to comfort and weather resistance, making the blanket poncho according to embodiments of the present disclosure a distinctive choice for users who need protection from the elements along with warmth.
Embodiments of the present disclosure may provide a blanket poncho with a straightforward and user-friendly functionality. It can be used as a traditional blanket by merely unfolding it. However, when the need arises for a wearable poncho, the user can convert the blanket to a poncho without difficulty. More specifically, the 20-inch two-headed center-opening zipper may be unzipped. This may extend from one side of the blanket to the other side. The blanket may then be draped over the user's shoulders and secured using the zipper, effectively creating a fully functioning poncho. The blanket poncho may provide versatility wherein a user may easily switch between using it as a blanket or a poncho, catering to various scenarios, weather, conditions, and/or personal preferences. The blanket poncho may be easily folded and stored, making it travel-friendly as a compact and multi-functional solution.
Whether configured as a blanket or a poncho, the blanket poncho according to embodiments of the present disclosure may be used by men, women, and/or children, making it a unisex and versatile solution. Accordingly, the user base may be expanded beyond conventional gender-specific or age-specific products. There also may be a variety of sizes, colors, prints, and textiles beyond traditional blanket or poncho designs.
The blanket poncho according to embodiments of the present disclosure may offer an array of customization features not found in conventional blanket or poncho products. These features include, but are not limited to, detachable hoods, adjustable straps, reversible zippers, heating elements, and/or pocket storage. These elements may be provided depending on the preferences and needs of the user, allowing for a personalized experience that may not be available in traditional blankets or ponchos.
