Claims
- 1. A multi-lumen hose, comprising:
a corrugated peripheral wall including an interior area and having an inner surface which defines a diameter; and at least one substantially planar inner partition extending from said inner surface across at least half of the diameter of said peripheral wall so as to divide said interior area into a plurality of lumen.
- 2. The multi-lumen hose according to claim 1 wherein said corrugated peripheral wall and substantially planar inner partition are formed by the steps defined by claim 1.
- 3. The multi-lumen hose according to claim 1 wherein said substantially planar inner partition is a chordal substantially planar inner partition extending across an entire chord of said diameter and dividing said corrugated peripheral wall into two lumen of different sizes.
- 4. The multi-lumen hose according to claim 1 wherein said substantially planar inner partition comprises three substantially planar inner partition portions with adjacent ones thereof disposed at 120° with respect to each other and providing said hose with three lumen.
- 5. The multi-lumen hose according to claim 1 wherein said substantially planar inner partition extends substantially across the entirety of said diameter of said peripheral wall and provides said hose with first and second lumen, and wherein said substantially planar inner partition includes an end portion contiguous with said peripheral wall comprised of two cylindrical portions providing said hose with third and fourth lumen.
- 6. The multi-lumen hose according to claim 1 wherein said substantially planar partition is a diametrical substantially planar inner partition extending across the entirety of said diameter of said peripheral wall and is a thermally conductive substantially planar inner partition enhancing the transfer of heat between fluids flowing through said lumen or for reducing the formation of condensation in said hose.
- 7. The multi-lumen hose according to claim 6 wherein said thermally conductive substantially planar partition is made of a thermally conductive plastic material.
- 8. The multi-lumen hose according to claim 6 wherein said thermally conductive inner partition comprises a substantially planar inner partition having a thermally conductive material residing therein.
- 9. The multi-lumen hose according to claim 6 wherein said thermally conductive substantially planar partition comprises a plastic substantially planar inner partition having at least one thermally conductive wire embedded.
