Claims
- 1. A cart for transporting gear and supplies, comprising: frame means including a base surrounded by a peripheral wall; an axle member carried by said base and having outer ends projecting laterally outwardly of said peripheral wall; rotatable wheels releasably carried at said outer ends of said axle member; a plurality of vertically extending cylindrical sleeves exteriorally connected at spaced locations on said peripheral wall for receiving elongated articles; a handle member releasably connected to said frame means at one end thereof; and extendable support means carried on said frame means at said one end whereby said cart may be readily assembled for use and disassembled for compact storage and transportation.
- 2. The cart as recited in claim 1 including an accessory platform releasably carried by one of said sleeves.
- 3. The cart as recited in claim 1 wherein said peripheral wall includes vertically spaced peripheral rails connected to said sleeves.
- 4. The cart as recited in claim 3 wherein said sleeves include cross pins at the bottom thereof for vertically positioning the elongated articles and said accessory platform.
- 5. The cart as recited in claim 4 including detent means between said sleeve and said accessory platform for orienting the circumferential position thereof.
- 6. The cart as recited in claim 5 wherein said accessory platform includes a horizontal work surface.
- 7. The cart as recited in claim 6 wherein said work surface is provided with a receptacle.
- 8. The cart as recited in claim 1 including extendable support means at the other end of frame means.
- 9. The cart as recited in claim 8 wherein said support means include transverse horizontal legs.
- 10. The cart as recited in claim 9 including locking pins operative between said frame means and said support means for selectively establishing vertical positions therefore.
- 11. The cart as recited in claim 10 including locking pins operative between said frame means and said handle member for detachable connecting the handle member to said one end of said frame means.
- 12. A fishing cart for carrying a plurality of fishing rods, and tackle gear from a first site to a fishing site, said fishing cart comprising: a plurality of elongated tubular members interconnected and forming a horizontal support base; a first elongated tubular rail peripherally connected to said support base; a second elongated tubular rail vertically overlying said first elongated tubular rail; support members interconnecting and vertically spacing said rails; a plurality of cylindrical support sleeves connected to said rails at spaced peripheral locations thereon and configured for telescopically receiving the fishing rods; stop means in said support sleeves for vertically positioning fishing rods received therewithin; an elongated handle bar; first releasable connector means for connecting said handle bar to said support base at a forward end thereof; an axle transversely connected to a lower end of said support base, said axle having outer ends extending laterally outward beyond said rails; a wheel rotatably support at each of said outer ends; second releasable connector means for removably mounting said wheels on said outer ends; and vertically adjustable support members connected to said rails, said support member having a releasable lower position for cojointly supporting said frame.
