Claims
- 1) a device, comprising
a round tubular center portion formed of semi-flexible material that has a surface which reflects sound, said center portion having a large end and a small end, the size of the large end is such that the device fits on a wearers head, the size of the small end is such that it fits over a users mouth, whereby said device can be used as a headgear, for sound amplification, or as an aid in hearing.
- 2) A device recited in claim 1 including a poster-like message display panel on said center portion.
- 3)The device recited in claim 1 wherein the center portion of said device is formed from sound reflecting material.
- 4) The device recited in claim 1 wherein the center portion of said device is made of semi-flexible material.
- 5) The device recited in claim 1 including cuffs at both ends of said center portion.
- 6) The device recited in claim 1 where the center portion is made of polyester duck cloth.
- 7) The device recited in claim 5 wherein said cuffs are made from fleece.
- 8) The device recited in claim 1 made of semi-flexible material that can maintain a tubular shape when held at one point at the ends of the tube and which can be folded lengthwise into a small shape.
- 9) The device recited in claim 5 wherein said cuffs are sewn to said central portion.
- 10) A hat that can also be used as a megaphone comprising,
a tubular central portion with a small end and a large end, said central portion being made of semi-flexible material that can maintain a tubular shape when held at one point on the large end and one point on the small end, and which can fold down when the large end is applied to the wearers head, whereby said device can serve as either a hat or a megaphone.
- 11) The hat recited in claim 10 wherein said small end approximates the width of the users mouth.
- 12) The hat recited in claim 10 wherein the large end is approximately the size of the wearer's head.
- 13) The hat recited in claim 10 wherein the large end has a felt cuff which extends around the end of the central portion to make the device comfortable when worn.
- 14) The device recited in claim 10 including an information conveying artifact on the central portion of the device.
- 15) The device recited in claim 10 including an information conveying artifact on an outside surface of the device.
- 16) The device recited in claim 10 wherein the central portion is made from a sound reflecting material.
- 17) The device recited in claim 10 wherein at least a portion of the central portion is made from a semi-flexible material which will retain a tubular shape when held at one point at either end.
- 18) The device recited in claim 1 where the center portion is made of PVC vinyl cloth that has a felt backing.
- 19) The device recited in claim 5 wherein said cuffs are made from craft felt.
- 20) A multi purpose device comprising,
a tapered tubular central portion with a small open end and a large open end, said central portion being made of semi-flexible material that can maintain a tubular shape when held at one point on the large end and one point on the small end.
- 21) The device recited in claim 20 that can serve as a hat, a megaphone, a pennant, a traffic cone, and a Christmas ornament.
- 22) The device recited in claim 1 including a sun visor.
- 23) The device recited in claim 1 including a zipper along the entire length of the tubular portion.
