Abstract
A multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product includes a hollow cylinder and air-permeable sealing members located at two ends of the hollow cylinder, where the hollow cylinder is filled with a functional material. The hollow cylinder can be filled with a smoke-generating material, a material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions, a filter material, and the like, such that multiple functions can be achieved; and the air-permeable sealing members at the two ends enable an air-flow channel. The internal component for an aerosol-generating product is simple and widely used in aerosol-generating products. An aerosol-generating product using the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product is provided, where the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product can be used as an aerosol-generating component, a multi-functional component, or a filter component.
Description
CROSS REFERENCE TO THE RELATED APPLICATIONS

This application is the national stage entry of International Application No. PCT/CN2020/133936, filed on Dec. 4, 2020, which is based upon and claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202011211167.4 filed on Nov. 3, 2020, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.


TECHNICAL FIELD

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of production of low-temperature heating non-combustion products, and in particular to a multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product, and an aerosol-generating product having the multi-purpose internal component.


BACKGROUND

Low-temperature heating non-combustion products can greatly reduce harmful substances in smoke and avoid passive smoking, so that the low-temperature heating non-combustion products are highly praised by many tobacco enterprises.


An existing low-temperature heating non-combustion product mainly includes an aerosol-generating component, a multi-functional component, and a filter component. The aerosol-generating component mainly contains a granular, shredded, powdery, flaky, or pasty smoke-generating material. The aerosol-generating component is heated to produce an aerosol for a user to inhale. When the aerosol-generating component contains a granular, powdery, or pasty smoke-generating material, a distal lip end of the aerosol-generating component needs to be sealed separately, and a proximal lip end of the aerosol-generating component also needs to be provided with a blocking member, thereby preventing the granular, powdery, or pasty smoke-generating material from scattering.


The multi-functional component is adjacent to the aerosol-generating component and is configured to achieve the following functions: 1. The multi-functional component includes an air-flow channel to allow an aerosol generated by the aerosol-generating component to reach the filter component. 2. The multi-functional component can contain a material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions, which reduces the temperature of the aerosol, enhances the fragrance of the aerosol, and reduces harmful ingredients in the aerosol. 3. When the aerosol-generating component contains a granular, powdery, or pasty smoke-generating material, the multifunctional component can prevent the granular, powdery, or pasty smoke-generating material from scattering.


The filter component is close to the proximal lip end of the aerosol-generating product and commonly uses cellulose acetate tow as the filter material. However, the filter component has the following problems: 1. There is a single selection for a form of the filter material, that is, only the specific tow form can be adopted, and a pasty, fragmented, powdery, or granular filter material cannot be used. 2. It is not easy to add functional materials to the filter component. Due to the limited form of the filter material, when it is desired to add a cooling, fragrance-enhancing, or harm-reducing material, only cooling and fragrance-enhancing capsules can be added.


The present disclosure is proposed to solve the above-mentioned problems.


SUMMARY

In a first aspect, the present disclosure provides a multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product, including a hollow cylinder 51 and air-permeable sealing members 52 located at two ends of the hollow cylinder 51;


where the hollow cylinder 51 is filled with a functional material.


Preferably, the air-permeable sealing member 52 may be an air-impermeable material, which is provided with air vents 521;


or the air-permeable sealing member 52 may be an air-permeable material, which is provided with or not provided with air vents 521; and


the air vents 521 may penetrate through the air-permeable sealing member 52 in an axial direction.


Preferably, the hollow cylinder 51 may be made of a material selected from the group consisting of a paper material, a resin material, and an inorganic material, the resin material may be selected from the group consisting of PEEK, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene terephthalate (PETP), and polylactic acid (PLA), and the inorganic material may be selected from the group consisting of aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, and diatomaceous earth;


the air-permeable material may be selected from the group consisting of a paper material and an inorganic porous material, and the inorganic porous material may be selected from the group consisting of aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, and diatomaceous earth; and the air-impermeable material may be a resin material, and the resin material may be selected from the group consisting of PEEK, PE, PP, PVC, PETP, and PLA.


Preferably, at least one of the air-permeable sealing members 52 may be an air-permeable sealing plug in the form of a sealing cover, which is removably connected to the hollow cylinder 51.


Preferably, the air-permeable sealing member 52 may include a plug cover 522 and a plug wall 523; and the plug cover 522 may be located between an upstream end and a downstream end of the plug wall 523 in an axial direction.


In a second aspect, the present disclosure provides an aerosol-generating product with a smoke-generating material in bulk, including a tube 1, and an aerosol-generating component 2 and a filter component 4 that are arranged in sequence from a distal lip end to a proximal lip end in the tube 1,


where the aerosol-generating component 2 is the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product according to the first aspect of the present disclosure, and a functional material filled in the hollow cylinder 51 is of a granular, powdery, filamentous, or pasty smoke-generating material.


The form of the smoke-generating material is merely exemplified here, and it is actually not limited to the above forms. Any smoking medium that can be filled in the hollow cylinder 51 is applicable.


The “arranged in sequence” here does not refer to a contiguous arrangement in sequence, that is, the aerosol-generating component 2 and the filter component 4 can be arranged side by side, or an additional component can be inserted between the two or a cavity can be reserved between the two. The additional component may be a cooling and fragrance-enhancing component with a cooling and fragrance-enhancing material.


In addition, when the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product is used as the aerosol-generating component 2, an end surface of a distal lip end of the aerosol-generating product may be provided with a sealing film, or the end surface may not be provided with a sealing film and the air-permeable sealing member 52 at the distal lip end is directly used for sealing.


Preferably, a multi-functional component 3 may be provided between the aerosol-generating component 2 and the filter component 4, where the multi-functional component 3 may be a support component carrying a material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions; or the multi-functional component 3 may be a cavity reserved between the aerosol-generating component 2 and the filter component 4, and the cavity may be filled with a material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions.


In a third aspect, the present disclosure provides an aerosol-generating product with a cooling material in bulk, including a tube 1, and an aerosol-generating component 2, a multi-functional component 3, and a filter component 4 that are arranged in sequence from a distal lip end to a proximal lip end in the tube 1,


where the multi-functional component 3 is the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product according to the first aspect of the present disclosure, and a functional material filled in the hollow cylinder 51 is a granular, powdery, or pasty material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions; and


the aerosol-generating component 2 is of a granular, powdery, filamentous, or pasty smoke-generating material.


The “arranged in sequence” here does not refer to a contiguous arrangement in sequence, that is, adjacent two of the aerosol-generating component 2, the multi-functional component 3, and the filter component 4 can be arranged side by side, or an additional component can be inserted between the two or a cavity can be reserved between the two. The additional component may be a cooling and fragrance-enhancing component with a cooling and fragrance-enhancing material.


When the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product is used as the multi-functional component 3, if the smoke-generating material of the aerosol-generating component 2 is of a granular, powdery, filamentous, or pasty smoke-generating material, a distal lip end of the aerosol-generating product needs to be sealed, or any manner that can prevent the smoke-generating material from scattering may be adopted.


In a fourth aspect, the present disclosure provides an aerosol-generating product with a filter material in bulk, including a tube 1, and an aerosol-generating component 2, a multi-functional component 3, and a filter component 4 that are arranged in sequence from a distal lip end to a proximal lip end in the tube 1,


where the filter component 4 is the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product according to the first aspect of the present disclosure, and a functional material filled in the hollow cylinder 51 is a granular, powdery, or fragmented material with a filter function;


the aerosol-generating component 2 is of a granular, powdery, filamentous, or pasty smoke-generating material; and


the multi-functional component 3 is a support component carrying a material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions; or the multi-functional component 3 is a cavity reserved between the aerosol-generating component 2 and the filter component 4, and the cavity is filled with a material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions.


The “arranged in sequence” here does not refer to a contiguous arrangement in sequence, that is, adjacent two of the aerosol-generating component 2, the multi-functional component 3, and the filter component 4 can be arranged side by side, or an additional component can be inserted between the two or a cavity can be reserved between the two. Preferably, the material with a filter function may be selected from the group consisting of a cotton product, flax fibers, bamboo fibers, diatomaceous earth particles, and a porous adsorbing material.


When the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product is used as the filter component 4, if the smoke-generating material of the aerosol-generating component 2 is of a granular, powdery, filamentous, or pasty smoke-generating material, a distal lip end of the aerosol-generating product needs to be sealed, or any manner that can prevent the smoke-generating material from scattering may be adopted.


The material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions can be in the form of particles, powder, pop beads, and pastes, which is provided to reduce a temperature of an aerosol, enhance the fragrance of the aerosol, and reduce harmful ingredients in the aerosol. Preferably, the material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions may be selected from the group consisting of diatomaceous earth, fragrance particles, activated carbon, a thermal gel, a hydrated salt cooling material, and a waxy material; and


the tube 1 may be a tubular structure fabricated from a material with a specified hardness, or may be a tubular structure formed by wrapping the aerosol-generating component 2 and the filter component 4 with paper. That is, a tube material can be a tubular material with a specified hardness and stiffness and a specified shape. The aerosol-generating component, the functional component, and the filter component can be directly filled into the tube to form the aerosol-generating product. The aerosol-generating component, the functional component, and the filter component can be arranged in sequence and then wrapped with paper to form the aerosol-generating product.


In the above aerosol-generating product, when the functional material is a powder, the air-permeable sealing members 52 at the two ends can be an unperforated air-permeable material, such as highly-permeable paper.


Compared with the prior art, the present disclosure has the following beneficial effects.


1. The present disclosure provides a multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product, including a hollow cylinder 51 and air-permeable sealing members 52 located at two ends of the hollow cylinder 51, where the hollow cylinder 51 may be filled with functional materials to achieve multiple functions, and the air-permeable sealing members 52 at the two ends enable an air-flow channel. The internal component for an aerosol-generating product is simple and widely used in aerosol-generating products.


2. In a preferred embodiment, at least one of the air-permeable sealing members 52 may be an air-permeable sealing plug in the form of a sealing cover, which is removably connected to the hollow cylinder 51. In this way, it is more convenient to fill a functional material into the hollow cylinder 51.


3. The hollow cylinder 51 of the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product according to the present disclosure is filled with a granular, powdery, filamentous, or pasty smoke-generating material, such that the internal component can be used as the aerosol-generating component 2. The air-permeable sealing members 52 at the two ends of the internal component can prevent the smoke-generating material in the hollow cylinder 51 from scattering, thereby avoiding the need to separately seal a distal lip end of the aerosol-generating component and provide a blocking member at a proximal lip end of the aerosol-generating component when the granular, powdery, filamentous, or pasty smoke-generating material is used.


4. The hollow cylinder 51 of the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product according to the present disclosure is filled with a granular, powdery, or pasty material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions, such that the internal component can be used as the multi-functional component 3. When the aerosol-generating component is a granular, powdery, or pasty smoke-generating material, the overall structure of the internal component can support and prevent the smoke-generating material of the aerosol-generating component 2 from scattering, and a function of the internal component can be adjusted by adjusting a type of the material in the hollow cylinder 51, such that the internal component has the cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions.


5. The hollow cylinder 51 of the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product according to the present disclosure can be filled with a material with a filter function, such that the internal component can be used as the filter component 4. The hollow cylinder 51 can be filled with a filter material in various forms, and can also be filled with a cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing material, which not only broadens the selection of the filter material, but also makes it easy to add a functional material.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

The present disclosure will be further described in detail below in conjunction with examples and accompanying drawings, but the examples are used only to describe the present disclosure, rather than limit the present disclosure.


As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, a multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product is provided, including a hollow cylinder 51 and air-permeable sealing members 52 located at two ends of the hollow cylinder 51, where the hollow cylinder 51 is filled with a functional material. The air-permeable sealing member 52 is highly-permeable paper, and there is no need to perforate the air-permeable sealing member 52.


The air-permeable sealing member 52 can also be perforated to increase air permeability, but a diameter of a hole should be smaller than a diameter of functional material particles in the hollow cylinder 51 to prevent the smoke-generating material particles from scattering, as shown in FIG. 3.


As shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, a multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product is provided, including a hollow cylinder 51 and air-permeable sealing members 52 located at two ends of the hollow cylinder 51, where the hollow cylinder 51 is filled with a functional material. The air-permeable sealing member 52 at the proximal lip end is an air-permeable sealing plug in the form of a sealing cover, which is removably connected to the hollow cylinder 51. The air-permeable sealing member 52 includes a plug cover 522 and a plug wall 523; and the plug cover 522 may be located at a middle part (waist) of the plug wall 523 in an axial direction. The plug cover 522 is provided with air vents 521 axially penetrating through the plug cover 522. The air-permeable sealing member 52 at a distal lip end is highly-permeable paper, and there is no need to perforate the air-permeable sealing member 52.


The air-permeable sealing member 52 at the distal lip end can also be perforated to increase air permeability, but a diameter of a hole should be smaller than a diameter of functional material particles in the hollow cylinder 51 to prevent the smoke-generating material particles from scattering, as shown in FIG. 6.


As shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, a multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product is provided, which is different from the internal component for an aerosol-generating product shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 in that the plug cover 522 is axially located at a downstream end of the plug wall 523.


The air-permeable sealing member 52 at the distal lip end can also be perforated to increase air permeability, but a diameter of a hole should be smaller than a diameter of functional material particles in the hollow cylinder 51 to prevent the smoke-generating material particles from scattering, as shown in FIG. 9.


As shown in FIG. 10 and FIG. 11, a multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product is provided, which is different from the internal component for an aerosol-generating product shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 in that the plug cover 522 is axially located at an upstream end of the plug wall 523.


The air-permeable sealing member 52 at the distal lip end can also be perforated to increase air permeability, but a diameter of a hole should be smaller than a diameter of functional material particles in the hollow cylinder 51 to prevent the smoke-generating material particles from scattering, as shown in FIG. 12.


EXAMPLE 1

As shown in FIG. 13, an aerosol-generating product with a smoke-generating material in bulk is provided in this example, including a tube 1, and an aerosol-generating component 2, a multi-functional component 3, and a filter component 4 that are arranged in sequence from a distal lip end to a proximal lip end in the tube 1,


where the aerosol-generating component 2 is the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product, and a functional material filled in the hollow cylinder 51 is a granular smoke-generating material; and


the multi-functional component 3 is a support and barrier component with an air-flow channel, and the multi-functional component 3 also includes a material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions.


The multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product is shown in FIG. 9.


EXAMPLE 2

As shown in FIG. 14, an aerosol-generating product with a cooling material in bulk is provided in this example, including a tube 1, and an aerosol-generating component 2, a multi-functional component 3, and a filter component 4 that are arranged in sequence from a distal lip end to a proximal lip end in the tube 1,


where the multi-functional component 3 is the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product, and a functional material filled in the hollow cylinder 51 is a granular material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions; and the aerosol-generating component 2 is a granular smoke-generating material.


The multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product is shown in FIG. 10.


EXAMPLE 3

As shown in FIG. 15, an aerosol-generating product with a filter material in bulk is provided in this example, including a tube 1, and an aerosol-generating component 2, a multi-functional component 3, and a filter component 4 that are arranged in sequence from a distal lip end to a proximal lip end in the tube 1,


where the filter component 4 is the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product, and a functional material filled in the hollow cylinder 51 is a fragmented material with a filter function;


the aerosol-generating component 2 is a granular smoke-generating material; and


the multi-functional component 3 is a support and barrier component with an air-flow channel, and the multi-functional component 3 also includes a material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions.


The material with a filter function is a cotton product.


The multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product is shown in FIG. 12.

Claims
  • 1. A multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product, comprising a hollow cylinder and air-permeable sealing members located at two ends of the hollow cylinder; wherein the hollow cylinder is filled with a functional material.
  • 2. The multi-purpose internal component for the aerosol-generating product according to claim 1, wherein the air-permeable sealing members are made of an air-impermeable material, and the air-permeable sealing members are provided with air vents; or the air-permeable sealing members are made of an air-permeable material, and the air-permeable sealing members are provided with or not provided with air vents ; andthe air vents penetrate through the air-permeable sealing members in an axial direction.
  • 3. The multi-purpose internal component for the aerosol-generating product according to claim 2, wherein the hollow cylinder is made of a material selected from the group consisting of a paper material, a resin material, and an inorganic material, the resin material is selected from the group consisting of polyetheretherketone (PEEK), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene terephthalate (PETP), and polylactic acid (PLA);the inorganic material is selected from the group consisting of aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, and diatomaceous earth;the air-permeable material is selected from the group consisting of a paper material and an inorganic porous material, and the inorganic porous material is selected from the group consisting of aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, and diatomaceous earth; andthe air-impermeable material is a resin material, and the resin material is selected from the group consisting of PEEK, PE, PP, PVC, PETP, and PLA.
  • 4. The multi-purpose internal component for the aerosol-generating product according to claim 1, wherein at least one of the air-permeable sealing members is an air-permeable sealing plug in the form of a sealing cover, and the air-permeable sealing plug is removably connected to the hollow cylinder; the air-permeable sealing member comprises a plug cover and a plug wall; and the plug cover is located between an upstream end and a downstream end of the plug wall in an axial direction.
  • 5. An aerosol-generating product with a smoke-generating material in bulk, comprising a tube, and an aerosol-generating component and a filter component, wherein the aerosol-generating component and the filter component are arranged in sequence from a distal lip end to a proximal lip end in the tube, the aerosol-generating component is the multi-purpose internal component for the aerosol generating product according to any ono of claim 1, and the functional material filled in the hollow cylinder is a granular, powdery, filamentous, or pasty smoke-generating material.
  • 6. The aerosol-generating product according to claim 5, further comprising a multi-functional component between the aerosol-generating component and the filter component, wherein the multi-functional component is a support component carrying a material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions; orthe multi-functional component is a cavity reserved between the aerosol-generating component and the filter component, and the cavity is filled with the material with the cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions.
  • 7. An aerosol-generating product with a cooling material in bulk, comprising a tube, and an aerosol-generating component, a multi-functional component, and a filter component that are arranged in sequence from a distal lip end to a proximal lip end in the tube, wherein the multi-functional component is the multi-purpose internal component for the aerosol generating product according to any one of claim 1, and the functional material filled in the hollow cylinder is a granular, powdery, or pasty material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions; andthe aerosol-generating component is of a granular, powdery, filamentous, or pasty smoke-generating material.
  • 8. An aerosol-generating product with a filter material in bulk, comprising a tube, and an aerosol-generating component, a multi-functional component, and a filter component, wherein the aerosol-generating component, the multi-functional component, and the filter component are arranged in sequence from a distal lip end to a proximal lip end in the tube, wherein the filter component is the multi-purpose internal component for the aerosol generating product according to any one of claims 1, and the functional material filled in the hollow cylinder is a granular, powdery, or fragmented material with a filter function;the aerosol-generating component is of a granular, powdery, filamentous, or pasty smoke-generating material; andthe multi-functional component is a support component carrying a material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions; or the multi-functional component is a cavity reserved between the aerosol-generating component and the filter component, and the cavity is filled with the material with the cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions.
  • 9. The aerosol-generating product according to claim 8, wherein the material with the filter function is selected from the group consisting of a cotton product, flax fibers, bamboo fibers, diatomaceous earth particles, and a porous adsorbing material.
  • 10. The aerosol-generating product according to claim 5, wherein the material with the cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions is selected from the group consisting of diatomaceous earth, fragrance particles, activated carbon, a thermal gel, a hydrated salt cooling material, and a waxy material; and the tube is a tubular structure fabricated from a material with a specified hardness, or is a tubular structure formed by wrapping the aerosol-generating component and the filter component with paper.
  • 11. The aerosol-generating product according to claim 7, wherein the material with the cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions is selected from the group consisting of diatomaceous earth, fragrance particles, activated carbon, a thermal gel, a hydrated salt cooling material, and a waxy material; and the tube is a tubular structure fabricated from a material with a specified hardness, or is a tubular structure formed by wrapping the aerosol-generating component and the filter component with paper.

The aerosol-generating product according to claim 8, wherein the material with the cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions is selected from the group consisting of diatomaceous earth, fragrance particles, activated carbon, a thermal gel, a hydrated salt cooling material, and a waxy material; and the tube is a tubular structure fabricated from a material with a specified hardness, or is a tubular structure formed by wrapping the aerosol-generating component and the filter component with paper.

The aerosol-generating product according to claim 9, wherein the material with the cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions is selected from the group consisting of diatomaceous earth, fragrance particles, activated carbon, a thermal gel, a hydrated salt cooling material, and a waxy material; and the tube is a tubular structure fabricated from a material with a specified hardness, or is a tubular structure formed by wrapping the aerosol-generating component and the filter component with paper.
