Claims
- 1. A multifunctional polyacrylate aliphatic polyurethane oligomer having the general formula of:
- �ACRYLATE!.sub.x -N-�ALIPHATIC POLYURETHANE!-O-R-�ACRYLATE!.sub.y
- wherein x is a whole numbered of 1 or 2, y is a whole number of 1, 2 or 3 and R is an aliphatic linking group.
- 2. The oligomer of claim of claim 1 wherein R is a pentaerythritol group.
- 3. A multifunctional polyacrylate aliphatic polyurethane oligomer having the general formula of: ##STR7##
- 4. The oligomer of claim 1 having substantially no free reactive isocyante or hydroxyl groups.
- 5. The oligomer of claim 1 which has a molecular weight of less than 5000.
- 6. The oligomer of claim 1 wherein the aliphatic polyurethane is derived from an aliphatic diisocyanate.
- 7. The oligomer of claim 6 wherein the aliphatic diisocyanate comprises a phenyl aliphatic diisocyanate.
- 8. The oligomer of claim 1 wherein the oligomer has a general dog bone structure and y is whole number of 2 or 3 and x is whole number of 2.
- 9. The oligomer of claim 1 wherein the aliphatic polyurethane comprises a primary amine-polyol-diisocyanate polyurethane.
- 10. The oligomer of claim 1 wherein the aliphatic polyurethane comprises a C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkylene oxyamine-aliphatic diisocyanate polyurethane.
- 11. The oligomer of claim 1 wherein the aliphatic polyurethane comprises a polyaspartic polyol or estera-aliphatic diisocyanate polyurethane.
- 12. A multifunctional polyacrylate aliphatic polyurethane oligomer having a general dog bone structure with substantially no free reactive isocyanate or hydroxy groups and a molecular weight of less than about 5000, the oligomer having two acrylate groups bonded to a nitrogen at one end and two or three acrylate groups bonded through an aliphatic linking group and an oxygen at the other end.
- 13. The oligomer of claim 1 which has no available free hydroxyl groups on the R binding group.
- 14. The oligomer of claim 1 which comprises a clear oligomer having a viscosity of 500 to 2000 cps.
- 15. The oligomer of claim 1 wherein x is two and y is three.
