Claims
- 1. A defibrillator comprising:a controller; an energy source operatively coupled to said controller for delivering an electrical shock; an electrode interface operatively coupled to said controller, and an instruction generator for generating instructions, said instruction generator operatively coupled to said controller, said instruction generator having an input means for receiving a language selection for a language selected by an operator, and an output means for the output of instructions generated by the instruction generator, based on the input means language selection, wherein said input means includes a plurality of language specific buttons.
- 2. The defibrillator according to claim 1, wherein the instruction generator permits the language of said instructions to be changed to another one of the plurality of languages.
- 3. The defibrillator according to claim 1, further comprising;an electrode delivery system operatively coupled to said controller for delivering the electrical shock from said energy source to said electrode interface.
- 4. The defibrillator according to claim 1, wherein the instruction generator permits the language of said instructions to be changed to another one of the plurality of languages.
- 5. The defibrillator according to claim 1, wherein said output means includes a visual image generator.
- 6. The defibrillator according to claim 1, wherein said output means includes a audible sound generator.
- 7. The defibrillator according to claim 1, wherein said output means includes a visual image generator and an audible sound generator.
- 8. A defibrillator comprising:a controller; an energy source operatively coupled to said controller for delivering an electrical shock; an instruction generator for generating instructions, said instruction generator operatively coupled to said controller, said instruction generator having an input means for receiving a language selection for a language selected by an operator, and an output means for the output of instructions generated by the instruction generator, based on the input means language selection, wherein said input means includes a plurality of language specific buttons.
- 9. The defibrillator according to claim 8, wherein the instruction generator permits the language of said instructions to be changed to another one of the plurality of languages.
- 10. The defibrillator according to claim 8, wherein the instruction generator permits the language of said instructions to be changed to another one of the plurality of languages.
- 11. The defibrillator according to claim 8, wherein said output means includes a visual image generator.
- 12. The defibrillator according to claim 8, wherein said output means includes a audible sound generator.
- 13. The defibrillator according to claim 8, wherein said output means includes a visual image generator and an audible sound generator.
