Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. However, it is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
Liquid storage containers have been provided in numerous shapes and sizes for various liquid commodities. The most ubiquitous liquid storage containers are presently glass and plastic and provide multiple shapes and sizes with mass production capability and recyclable materials. A popular liquid storage container is a drinking bottle. Typically, most individuals utilize a drinking bottle formed of a molded plastic material or glass. The most common type of drinking bottle employs a neck portion supporting a removable cap and a chamber connected to the neck portion. These drinking bottles are reasonably durable, are reusable with most liquid drinks of choice, are economical to make and to purchase, and are easy to use (in that an individual can grip the bottle with one hand and take a drink via the outlet means without spilling the liquid).
There are many challenges when a new brand intends to enter market. The major challenge being that new brands fail to acquire market share due to bigger and more popular brands acquiring too much shelf space in major retail stores. New brands have to compete with existing bigger brands that already have their brand established and have to spend large amount of money for marketing and advertisement campaigns.
There is therefore a need in the art to provide a multiple fluid storage and selective dispensing bottle that seeks to overcome or at least ameliorate one or more of the above-mentioned problems and other limitations of the existing solutions and itself will be the manifestation of the promotional marketing campaign. Therefore, what is needed is a novel means and method of new products to market their products to consumers to gain market share quickly and to get that new product in the hands of a plurality of consumers quickly by sharing the shelf space with more popular brands using a novel bottle system that comprises the storage of separate fluids.

According to an embodiment, a proposed multiple fluid storage and selective dispensing bottle 100 is disclosed. The bottle 100 can include a container 104. The container can be made up of material such as but not only limiting to High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), Polypropylene (PP), Copolyester, Polyethylene Terephthalate, porcelain and glass. It would be appreciated by the person skilled in the art that the shape of the bottle is not a limiting factor for the invention hence, bottle of any shape would be utilized.
The container 104 can have at least two open ends and a partition 106 as shown in
For example, If Green Cola wants to enter the market and gain market share, rather than competing with Coca Cola, it can be packaged inside the promo bottle, when users purchase the Coca Cola, they get the Green Cola as well. Coca Cola does not give up its dominant shelf space in Walmart, however Green Cola has the same shelf space as Coca Cola and is now in the hands-on consumers with money willing to buy the Coca Cola brans. This facilitates Green Cola in capturing the market easily.
In an embodiment, the open ends of the container 104 can be opened and closed using caps 102-1, 102-2 and 103-3. The caps 102-1, 102-2 and 102-3 facilitates in keeping the contents of the container 104 safe and secure against dust, and other harmful particles. The container 104 can have at least two necks 108-1,108-2 and 108-3 that are extending outwards from the container 104. The necks 108-1 and 108-2 and/or 108-3 may enable the caps 102-1, 102-2 and/or 102-3 to be fixed to close the access of the container 104. The cap 102-1 may be fixed to the neck 108-1 and the cap 108-2 may be fixed to the neck 108-2 and the cap 108-3 may be fixed to the neck 108-3. The size and shape of the neck and cap can be same or different. The diameter of caps also can be different. Once the bottle 100 is full the bottle 100 can contain multiple separate liquids. For example, the user can open the cap 102-1 and drink the fluid and to drink the other fluid the user can open the cap 102-2. It would be appreciated by the person skilled in the art that the person can selectively pour any drink of his/her choice from the container 104.
Further, the bottle 110 can have multiple labels to determine the different type of fluids in the bottle. As clearly illustrated in
Further, the partitions inside the bottle can be of different shape and sizes. It is possible to have multiple chambers in the multiple fluid bottle. Further, it is also possible to have horizontal and vertical chambers in the bottle. The multiple chambers in the bottle can be isolated with each other and configured to have a locking mechanism to put the fluid of one chamber without mixing with the fluid of another chamber.
While the foregoing describes various embodiments of the invention, other and further embodiments of the invention may be devised without departing from the basic scope thereof. The scope of the invention is determined by the claims that follow. The invention is not limited to the described embodiments, versions or examples, which are included to enable a person having ordinary skill in the art to make and use the invention when combined with information and knowledge available to the person having ordinary skill in the art.
